Movie Critics (823 KP) rated Past Life (2017) in Movies
May 26, 2017
Nesher, who has a true understanding of the significance of this story, has the rare ability to make films about families that make you feel as though you’re part of them.

Movie Critics (823 KP) rated Gotham - Season 1 in TV
Jun 12, 2017
Thankfully, there are more high points in Gotham than low points. The growing tension between two crime families takes on a life of it’s own throughout season one with Oswald Cobblepot firmly in the middle.

Imogen SB (4507 KP) rated Trivial Pursuit: Classic Edition in Tabletop Games
Mar 19, 2019
'For families that find games based on general knowledge more appealing than focused games, there’s nothing better out there than Trivial Pursuit, and this Master Edition will give people who think their general knowledge is rather good a run for their money.'

The Chocolate Lady (94 KP) rated The Thread in Books
Oct 7, 2020
The 20th century brought many disruptive events to the Greek city of Thessaloniki. Victoria Hislop makes this city’s tale personal by telling its story through the events that affected a few of its families in her third novel. Interesting story with supernatural elements
Follows several families in a small German town, as you get further in you see that three generations of each family have been/are involved.
Subtitles or dubbed english (1 more)
That end of the last episode made it seem like next season would be even more far fetched and maybe not in a good way.
Interesting story that follows three generations of several families in a small German town. It’s definitely a show you’ll have to pay attention to or you’ll get lost. My only concern is the end of the last episode, seems like it might be headed in the direction of a bad syfy movie. Just have to wait and see.
BookCritics (259 KP) rated Do Not Become Alarmed in Books

This story is complicated. It deals with many moral issues. Families, marriage, strength and weakness. This is a great story coming out just in time for you to toss in your tote bag or beach bag. Just do it!

Chrissy (8 KP) rated The Santa Thief in Books
Jan 25, 2018
This is an amazingly cute story about the meaning of Christmas. I truly enjoyed reading it aloud to my kids, (ages 9, 7, and 4) and they all enjoyed the story. I loved following along with Georgie as he picked out the tree with his dad. A truly touching story, perfect for all families at Christmas.

Breaking Into Sci-Fi
Looking to break into the sci-fi genre? To be fully immersed in a time and place both familiar and strange? Dune takes social political structures from our world and creates worlds, families, feuds, and builds such a complex universe that the end of the book comes much too soon!
The Roth Homestead (32 KP) rated Amidst This Fading Light in Books
Aug 21, 2018
Amidst this Fading Light, so much tragedy and so much love. It rips at your heart, reading what these families have gone through. The small town always seems to overcome the losses. It thrilled me to see how it all worked out in the end. I definitely recommend this novel. I can't wait to see what Rebecca Davis writes next!
Adam Stubbs (18 KP) rated Nintendo Wii in Tech

Great console
The console that kinda came out of nowhere and all of sudden was contending with Xbox and PlayStation back in its day, it provided families with lots of games at a lower price, making it hugely popular. Nintendo had had other popular consoles, but that were handheld. This console was a bold, and brilliant move from Nintendo.
