Would be a good concept for a movie
Being trapped in alternate realities is always a terrifying thought, which Blake Crouch has managed to portray quite well. It's a family story, mixed with a bit of sci-fi and Kafka-esque existentialism, about the choices we make in life, and how literally in this case, can set you on a different path in quantum existences.

While it seemed more engaging at the beginning, the lack of movement in terms of the end goal, made it slightly tedious and repetitive. It could be a tad shorter for what it is. It also terminates quickly leaving a lack of conclusion.

Jane Green writes an emotionally packed book, that makes you laugh and cry and want to smack someone sometimes.

Emily is a teenager and her father is remarried. She 'hates' her step-mother, Andi. Her sister, Sophia, adores her. And, of course, her father, Ethan loves her. Her mother is a drunk and really pays no attention to her daughters, and all Emily does is act out.

Then something happens that turns everyone's life upside down and inside out.

This is a story that spans a journey of nearly 7 years. And in that time, we see how these characters grow and develop into individuals and as a family.

Aniston stars alongside Owen Wilson and gives a powerful and multi-faceted performance that is one of the best in her entire career. Aniston is a well-known animal lover and her emotion in this film is absolutely astounding. She plays the role with an understated brilliance that only she could.
