Great character development
Quick read
Amazing first installment of the Dwellers Series!
As an older reader, I somehow find myself being drawn more often than not to the YA Dystopian, Sci-fi, and Fantasy genres thanks to books like The Moon Dwellers.
David Estes has created a unique post-apocalyptic world under the surface of the Earth in which the remaining people live. There are 3 underground realms: Sun, Moon, and Star that fittingly describe the amount of light that each level recieves and thus dictates the class of people that reside on each level.
The story is of 17-year-old Adele who is sentenced to life in the Pen for her parent's treasonous acts, since the abduction of her parents and sister by the Enforcers.
After learning that her family is, in fact, alive, she plots to escape her prison and rescue her family, but not before making a couple of friends in the Pen and developing some very weird feelings for the President of the Sun Realm's son (who apparently has developed the same feelings for her) whom she has never met!
An rollercoaster ride of emotions are what awaits you whilst reading this exciting tale! And I can't wait to read the second installment of The Dwellers Series!

Gabby Summerhill is getting married. The question is, to whom? Will it be Marty, Tom, or Jacob? Each one has proposed to her, but she isn't revealing who the lucky groom will be until Christmas Day when her whole family is gathered together. Gabby hasn't spent a Christmas with her whole family since her first husband passed away. Once they are all gathered, Gabby will reveal the lucky man. Each one of Gabby's four kids has their own life and Gabby is always up to something quirky she even has her kids and grandkids call her by her first name.
I'm trying to get through all the James Patterson books I haven't read by listening to a few. I have long enjoyed his books and this one was alright.
Gabby is a high school teacher and a mother of 4. She is also a grandmother. Planning her wedding is quite an adventure and everyone seems to comply with the crazy idea of waiting until the wedding day which is also Christmas to reveal who sh is going to marry, even the groom doesn't know. It's fun to see how the story unfolds with nods to subjects like divorce, grief, and teenage angst.

What a wonderful book this is. I have learned a bit more about Israel and it ever lasting world to survive. The book is about a girl named Aya who by all means was stuggling to fit into her family from the day she was born. Her family really did not know what was going on with her. She came out on top in the end, to me at least.
Aya was traveling with her young group for return to hope and freedom. Though once she reached the Jewish Brigade, she runs a solider that is supposed to be her hero. She does not know that she was to going to be control by this man when she was only 15 year's old. What happen next is a surprise as to anyone.
Late in life and raising two children. Things go from bad to worse. Aya try to protect her two children from their father. When she clasped and is ask to see phys doctor. She decides to go to school. Things get harder for her and she decides to do the one thing that get her to travel and get a career in something she loves. There are many different twist and surprises to be learn the read in this book

What a journey!

How do you a summarise a book that is a classical as this one ? We come face to face with Hercule Poirot as he joins the Orient Express at Aleppo in a rush to get to London. After getting in the train Poirot is approached by Samuel Ratchett, a malevolent, elderly American who wants to hire the detective as He believes his life is being threatened.
On the second night of the journey the train is stopped by a snowdrift near Vinkovci and Poirot's is woken by a cry emanating from Ratchett's compartment. The next morning we discover that Ratchett has been murdered and Poirot investigates the crime.
As we get to meet the other passengers we soon discover that everyone on the train has a motive to murder. Poirot discovers that everyone in the coach had a connection to the a famous Family called the Armstrong family who lost their daug in tragic circumstances. and a to kill . He proposes two possible solutions.
What does our detective friend do when he finds the truth?

I quite enjoyed this book - there were a bit of issues with transitioning into different mindsets - I prefer when each person is either labelled or there is a space to show there is another person talking, so I had a bit of a problem following along in a few parts, but since most of the book is Hannah it was not a huge issue.
I read an arc of this book, I saw the description and it immediately spoke to me - being a self conscious acne riddled (adult mind you) I was like, hey first hook line and sinker. Hannah's family life is pretty awful for her, she tries to escape I think using Deacon, their time together was actually quite amazing to read. You get those fluffy romances most YA books have and this was different. I thought it was great.
Onto the ending - if I don't get a book 2, or a novella, or SOMETHING I'm going to be very upset, you can't do that to me! You just cant! I'd totally read this book again, and I would recommend it (to certain members of my family/friends, as I know some people wouldn't be interested in the content there's a lot of drug talk, etc.)

This has been the only film I've seen in theaters this July (too many kids movies), and it was completely worth it.
The only gripe I have, to start out with, was the length. QT definitely took his time to develop the characters, and to enjoy the overall nostalgia of Hollywood in 1969. I'm not really a Brad Pitt (Cliff) fan, but his chemistry with Leo was a joy to watch, and highly amusing. I really loved Leo in this, aside from his persistent Calvin Candie accent.
I really enjoyed Moh's Bruce Lee, and the scene with Cliff was one of my favorites. Another of my favorites was the ultra-creepiness of the Spahn Ranch with the Manson family.
The entire movie, I was waiting for the signature violence, and while there was a little at Spahn Ranch, the end was amazing. The last scenes had me laughing so hard, I was crying, I loved it. QT really let us know how he feels about the Manson family.
Of course, this is a fairy-tale, so the end result was different than what happened in real life. I'm for sure going to try to catch this flick again tomorrow.
Also- RIP Luke Perry, he got very little screen time, but it was great screen time.
