What would you do if you were told you would die within the next 24 hours?
You didn't know how or when it would happen just that it was inevitable and would happen before midnight?
Would you spend your time at home with friends and family, just being together and enjoying that time?
Would you go out and do things you had never done before and pushed the boundaries of your bravery?
This is where Mateo and Rugus find themselves. One 17 and the other 18 and today they are dying.
But rather than sit around and wait for death they find each other and start one last grand adventure on their End Day.
This book really makes you think, makes you assess your life and if you are living it to its full potential. It doesn't leave you feeling sad that these two characters know they are dying, it makes you feel happy and uplifted that for their last day they lived it to the fullest possible.

Well, unfortunately, Jane did survive the last one…
…and by now, this Tarzan series has become a simplistic, cynical cash cow. Delivering yet another formulaic adventure, almost beat for beat what has come before, we now find that Cheeta, the never aging chimp, has become the star of the show. No longer just a bit of comic relief, entire scenes are handed over to her and “Boy”, Tarzan and Jane’s adopted son, in favour of appealing to the child market no doubt.
This has become unabashed family entertainment, no longer speaking to its audience as it once did. No longer discussing the differences of a simple life versus a civilized one, nor tackling the constraints of civilization on things such a sexuality or freedom of expression.
Her the jungle is funny and safe, only threatened by primitive tribes and greedy westerners, all of whom will be stopped by Tarzan and his Elephants in the end. Though the action is good and the finale it one of the best so far, so cynical or not, it still works.

This book is best on different then any other. Though there seems to be a secret that no one seem to know about Rebanelle and her husband and father to Curtis Jean.
There seems to be a story about mothers and daughters. You see them struggle and what they decide to do what best for their loves ones. It seem to be a story about Curtis Jean mostly.
Curtis Jean does she accept and change the life with her husband and her two daughters. Does she fall backwards? What the legacy of this family and what could destroy everything in it path. There seems to be death around the corner. That it mean to them do they pray to god in one way or not.
I advise that you watch with your children who reads this book. For there is some things that are said that is only meant for adults. I say though of ages of 13 plus would be a good idea to read this book. It seem to be about men and drinking and all that kind of things.

With her best friend, and a cute guy she just met to help her figure out what's going on. This book was amazing. It had me on the edge of my seat, grinning from ear to ear and crying at times. I would highly recommend it. With a few minor kissing scenes and a couple of violent scenes I would say it is still appropriate for kids over the age of 13.

Sweet and Heartwarming
This book is never going to win any literary prizes. However if you'e after a heartwarming laugh out loud tale, then this is definitely the book to come to. John Grogan does well to get you engaged in not only the life of his dog Marley, but also of himself and the rest of his family. Which is good, as a tale solely about canine capers might soon lose it's appeal. Through John's depiction of Marley you can't help but find him and his exploits adorable, albeit saying a silent prayer that you don't own a dog like him.
For animal lovers alike this is a great read. For dog lovers and owners, this is a must read as I'm sure everyone can identify with some of these canine behaviours. My parents have a silly Dalmatian, but even she isn't a patch on Marley and it's so good to read a book that makes you giggle at all the doggy traits you recognise. I dare you not to have shed a tear by the end either.

Shannon Hammer loves her life and her job of working on the many Victorians in Lighthouse Cove. She’s agreed to go on a blind date with Jerry Saxton, but he turns out to be a complete jerk. To Shannon’s horror, she finds his dead body in one of her houses a couple of days later. With the police looking at her as the prime suspect, she has to build a case against someone else. There are no shortage of suspects, but who did it?
More than a mystery with clues and red herrings, this book is a series of mysterious events, with Shannon reacting to the latest. There are some interesting twists, but the lack of true investigation bothered me. Still, the book does come to a logical climax. I loved these characters. Shannon has a strong group of friends and family, and I really liked them.

This is a great book for young readers. This is good for parents to help struggling readers with this book. It teaches about the places around the USA and the World. This one get you to explore Alaska and it wild life. If your family or children are into animals, this would be a good book for them.
The pictures are done wonderfully. The author will get readers engaged with this set of book. I got the 4 books that's are out for this series. Your children will learn about the state of Alaska. The author does wonderful giving you different things in this book. The way the author has Mr. Waldorf travel in this book makes it quite run and enjoyable.
This is good for adventurous children. The pup in the book whose name is Mr. Waldorf seem to lose this reading glasses. Your children will laugh and learn at the same time. To me the age is good for children as young as age 3 to beginner readers.

This a story about a young boy. He thinks his family is good. When the Japanese come and take over by putting all the mother and children in a camp. Jeremiah is the one who need to watch over his siblings and mother. His older stepbrothers and his father are hauled away to work for the Japanese. This all starts shortly after his tenth birthday. It also when he see his love for the first time at a marble game. He also meets Charles (American).
Jeremiah see what goes on and want to help Dutch out at the camp. He has his adventures. Though things start to happen with his mother. He find out the truth of what his other was doing to each of his siblings. Jeremiah does something and his little brother. Things happen and Jeremiah and Laura start a friendship of hardships and many other things. To know what all went on in Jeremiah life you will need to pick this book up to read.

Katharina and Martin Luther: The Radical Marriage of a Runaway Nun and a Renegade Monk by Michelle DeRusha gave a vivid picture of 2 individuals whose path led to each other and to changing the course of history. It shares personal details of their lives, childhoods separated from family and risking capture, the escape to new lives. They married as virtual strangers but over time they grew to love and admire each other.
The book was extremely well written and researched. When reading you get a glimpse of what life was like at the time, and how Katharina and Martin called on their faith and each other to share their progressive thoughts.
This is a very intimate view of someone who hundreds of years later is a household name. It presents Martin Luther as very human, with doubts and fears, but with courage and the support of a loving relationship, gave Christians another way to live in faith.

Riley Can Be Anything by Hamilton Davina is a wonderful book and illustrations that shows children being able to see themselves in the books they read. Riley is spending time with his older cousin Joe. Joe asks Riley what he wants to be when he grows up; however, Riley can't decide. Joe tells Riley about all the great career opportunities that others in their family have had, like chefs, musicians, or teachers. Riley really can be anything. I really liked this book about the ability for young Riley to be anything he can.Young Riley imagines and dreams of all the possibilities for his life with the help of Cousin Joe. A great story that shows that Riley is only limited by his ability to dream of big things he can do and be.
The rhyming pattern will appeal to toddler age children, but the story is complex enough and interesting enough to hold the attention of early readers and elementary students.
I recommend this book for anyone teaching children that their dreams are only limited by themselves.
