This is a Young Adult Fantasy set in a contemporary setting. Honoria, and her brother Geoffrey, are still recovering from the loss of their parents in the Twin Towers. They now live with their aunt and uncle and have moved to Arnn where Honoria quickly becomes intrigued and ensnared by the local legend of Witchwood Hollow.

Set in many different times, they do link up as the story progresses. Elizabeth, Lady Clifford, I just couldn't figure out how I felt about her. Honoria and Leon were fantastic characters that were completely real to their natures and the times.

Well written, with a fast-moving story, this definitely has more of a mystery theme than romance, although there is a hint of it. I liked how it all tied up together at the end, complete with the twist.

If you want a Young Adult Fantasy Mystery, then I can definitely recommend this.

Wild Lavender (The Aurelian Guard #1) by Nicole Elizabeth Kelleher
WILD LAVENDER is the first book in The Aurelian Guard series, and is also the debut novel by this author. We are transported to a medieval world, where things aren't always equal or what they seem.

I found this book to be a strong opening to this series. We not only have strong characters on both sides of the conflict, but the world-building is there without overpowering the story. The romance comes later, after a horrific start for Anna. She surely deserves all the love she can get!

With no errors that I noticed, I loved this fantasy world, and I can't wait to read more. Absolutely recommended by me.

What would happen if you could see muses? If a muse came into your life and wanted to help you become the artist you could only dream of. This is the story of Sylvia and her muse Vincent.

I must say I was not expecting any of this story when I started and was surprised at how dark it seemed. The plot had light moments but a lot of it concentrated on the dark side of music and how feeling too much could affect a person if they couldn't get the music out.
I did enjoy the slight romance but it definitely was understated. Note: the book ended on a cliff hanger.

For fans of darker fantasy and those who know a lot about music and artists.

Can't get much more 80's than this!
In my experience, few films have had such a different range of reviews by gender than this film. Most women I know utterly hate everything about this goofy 80s campfest starring Kurt Russell at his best while men seem to eat up all the cheesy one liners and mediocre story and visual effects.

I watch this movie a lot when I was a teenager. When revisiting it as an adult, I can see why some people can't get into it as it does look dated now, but it will always be a guilty pleasure for me.

What a perfect blend of comedy, action, romance, sci-fi and fantasy all rolled into one.
