Terrifying political racial horror
As a woman of colour this is probably the most terrifying kind of horror to watch. It's political message is stark, and it's almost a satire of American society. The last scene of the main character's hands up is a grim look on reality where an US police officer is more likely to believe the white woman than the black man. Rod is by far the best character!

Informative but far too long
Listened on Audible.
While I loved the concept of raising awareness for dementia sufferers and how frustrating it can be to lose oneself, listening to this gave me a bit of a headache as it was far too long. This is definitely better as a book and not for Audible - you lose track of the Maud's meandering. And while it is based on the tragic circumstances of her sister's disappearance - I actually ended up losing focus over who she was actually talking about after a while. A good effort.

Suswatibasu (1703 KP) rated Sherlock - Season 1 in TV

First series is the best series by far
Without a doubt, Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman transformed the face of Sherlock, completely updating it for modern viewing. Sherlock is played to be on some kind of spectrum, which allows him to work out calculations at lightning speed. He's arrogant but hilarious and Watson is an absolute spellbinder of a sidekick. The bromance is beautiful. But the first series by far is the most coherent without going into odd tangents and storylines. Really worth the watch.

Should have been amazing
This could have been an amazing game. The first Alone in the Dark game I had played. I'm a big fan of survival Horror games. It started well but all I can remember is getting to a certain point not that far in the game and getting stuck. No idea, or clue what to do or if I had enough ammo to survive an attack. Far too vague, could have been one of the best games otherwise.
