Dean (6927 KP) rated Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (2004) in Movies
Jun 22, 2018
A decent follow up that blends seamlessly from the first. Much more of the same really, with all the same main characters from the first. It has the same type of humour as the first to, maybe not quite as good as the original but not that far off. If you like the first one give this a go.

Erika (17789 KP) rated Happy Gilmore (1996) in Movies
Jul 7, 2018 (Updated Jul 7, 2018)
This is one of my favorite Adam Sandler movies. I can quote a lot of this film, and I still find certain lines hilarious. Of course, the plot is ridiculous and predictable, but I don't really find anything wrong with that.
By far, one of the best scenes is the fight with Bob Barker. "The price is wrong, bitch."

Alice (12 KP) rated The Alloy of Law: A Mistborn Novel in Books
Jul 3, 2018
That ending was amazing. It was great seeing an old face of sorts. Alloy of Law was written differently to the original Mistborn trilogy in that there was far more humour in the form of Wayne and the era itself is a big jump with everything coming into more modern times.
The characters were fantastic as well once again

Toni M (6 KP) rated Like This, For Ever (Lacey Flint, #3) in Books
Aug 22, 2018
If this had been the first Lacey Flint novel I read, honestly, I may have given it another star. The only reason I deducted is because I felt like it pulled too far away from the Flint and Joesbury storyline. But it laid some interesting groundwork that I hope will have been used in the next one.

Robinlb (5 KP) rated Annabelle: Creation (2017) in Movies
Oct 16, 2018
Best Yet
Admittedly I'm a huge fan of The Conjuring, Insidious, and Annabelle series. And these all have something in common...each sequel gets better and better. Creaking and stretching bones, stuff hidden in walls, and overall jumpy moments that don't quit make this creepy doll movie something far more sinister than Chucky.

alishea (25 KP) rated the Xbox One version of Destiny 2 in Video Games
Nov 15, 2018
My favourite
The first destiny was not that good but after playing this one I'm obsessed it's my favourite game by far. Everything is amazing including the graphics. The story line is the best story line IV played in a long time. The multiplayer aspect is great. Apart from a few things like long loading screens I'd recommend 100%

AmyBee (4 KP) rated Hitchhiker Trilogy: A Trilogy in Five Parts in Books
Nov 23, 2018
A scientifically important series of novellas.
The author makes many predictions of future technology which so far have all come true. He predicted the internet, search engines, handheld smartphone devices, GPS, sentient AI, and many other elements of today's society that he couldn't possibly have known about when this book was written.

Bubba Gee (147 KP) rated The Lost Symbol: (Robert Langdon Book 3) in Books

Awesome story
This is the best one of the Langdon series so far I feel, it wasn't as complex as some of the stories but really digs into the history of Washington and the founding fathers.
The plot twists are extremely captivating and I would reccomend this to anyone who likes thriller mysteries.

Lizzi Lewins (73 KP) rated the PlayStation 4 version of Fallout 4 in Video Games
Dec 23, 2018
I've enjoyed all the fallout games so far and wasn't disappointed by fallout 4. It does feel different to the previous games but that doesn't take away from it. I love the settlement building aspect as well, although being limited on what you can build did slightly take away from the enjoyment. Overall though I love this game.
