The Chocolate Lady (94 KP) rated The Beginner's Goodbye in Books
Oct 7, 2020
Tyler knows how to write not just about ordinary people, but ones who are flawed, so that we see their flaws through them far more vividly than the people around them. This short novel focuses on loss and mourning and if there are things we find hard to believe that can become believable in certain circumstances. The Chocolate Lady (94 KP) rated Anil's Ghost in Books
Oct 7, 2020
This is a book that will captivate you, by its ability to transport you to a time and place that you've probably never visited, or read about before. Anil herself is a complex character that evokes far more than what is revealed. The plot here is one that is both fascinating, and out of the ordinary. I'm not loving it.
So this has been anticipated for some time but it hasn't lived up to the hype. There isn't enough inns in some places to allow the game play to flow. Essentially some people will have to pay to play no matter how far they walk. The beasts are a lot of the same over and over again.

Russ Troutt (291 KP) rated Blaze (2018) in Movies
Jun 28, 2019
Watched what is definitely one of my favorite movies of the year so far recently, unfortunately it was on a little screen on my flight back to Hawaii. Name of the movie is Blaze, written and directed by Ethan Hawke, and is based on the outlaw country singer and songwriter legend Blaze Foley. If you don't add this to your watch list then I'll have to have Deputy Dawg throw you in movie jail.

5 years continuously playing
The title of this review says it all.
I have been playing for 5 years solid.
This game is ever-changing, immersive and challenging.
I could get lost for hours playing. The challenges and events are seamlessly added to the storyline, making the gameplay so unique.
The graphics are improving with every update and have come far within the last 2 years.

Watched the first two episodes gonna watch the rest over the weekend so far it looks like a winner didn't like Courtney at found a bit spiteful to pat her step dad but once she found the staff she became more likeable as a character it Will be interesting to see where the remaing episodes go as we get to see the rest of the supporting cast of heroes and villains

Ross (3284 KP) rated Radio City by Big Star in Music

Rolling Stone's 405th greatest album of all time
This is my third experience of a Big Star album, a band I had never heard of before I started working my way through Rolling Stone's top 500 albums. This was by far the best of those three, being good quality typical 70s rock songs. Reminiscent of the Eagles and Jackson Browne at times, the odd Bowie hint here and there. A really enjoyable listen.
