Darren Fisher (2465 KP) rated The Room Upstairs in Books
Dec 10, 2020 (Updated Dec 10, 2020)
Wright on!
I have now read a few of Iain Rob Wright's books (which I will get round to reviewing soon). The Room Upstairs was the latest read and I have to say that, like all his books so far, it was a rollicking good read. Wright delivers a good balance of horror and dark humour. I have often been reminded of the old tv show Hammer House of Horror whilst reading his books (a good thing for me at least). Recommended reading

okay so lets start by saying this has been the action hit of the fall so far that ive seen very exciting its no family show but this is quite intreging and very fast moving a show that may be too graphic for some but is perfect for others a nonstop thriller filled with chills bumps twist and curves around every corner
Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated Nocturnal (The Noctalis Chronicles, #1) in Books

DNF @ 36%.
Four days of reading and not even half way through yet. That shows my lack of enthusiasm for this book. It was taking far too long to get interesting in my opinion. She kept going out and meeting him in the graveyard and having very strange, almost one sided conversations with Peter. I didn't see her fascination with him and found the rest of the storyline rather boring in that bit I did read.
Not for me at all.

Half way thru the 3rd bioshock game and so far it's excellent. The gameplay the characters the sky city of Columbia so bright and colourful compared to the underwater city of the first two games if it seems too perfect starts off like that but soon ends chaos when u arrive looking for Elizabeth as I've already rescued Elizabeth already so I'm gonna keep playing too see where the plot thickens playing this as part of the bioshock collection
Andrew Koltuniuk (770 KP) rated Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) in Movies
May 19, 2020
Wow. Is there any better example of cinematic perfection? I absolutely adore this film. The Winter Soldier is my favorite MCU movie. It took the character of Captain America and it elevated him to a level far beyond what he was before. This movie is a beautiful masterpiece. I have high praise for it. The Russo brothers took the character and treated him so well. It proved just how capable they were of handling such an important character to the MCU!
