Where Is My Coat? Farm Animals by Anita Bijsterbosch is a cute board book for very young children who like to play fun and simple guessing games with pictures of cozy-colored animals at play. It is a a pleasant and easy read.

Animal shapes are shown and you are asked what they are. It is very interactive. Kids will need to use their visual skills to figure out what type of animal is depicted. The illustrations are super cute and the colors draw you in. This is a good book to use for teaching animals to small children.

I received this ARC from Clavis Publishing via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

When the animals revolt against Jones, they find themselves responsible for their own fate on the farm. The initially set up a government where everyone had an equal say. But slowly, things begin to change. What will happen?

This is a powerful allegory about the dangers of socialism. It shows how things sound good in the beginning but slowly everything devolves. Written during Stalin's USSR, some references might be dated, but this is a warning well worth heeding today.

Meg has gotten talked into running the Caerphilly Rose Show, which involves dealing with the eccentric owner of the farm they are using and all her black and white animals, including swans and fainting goats. Oh yeah, and there's a murder, too. Wonderful fun as always.
