Good to see some Wonder Woman stories coming out now!
Fast paced, exciting YA
Ok, I'll admit I was surprised at how much I liked this. I thought it would be a re-hash of the recent film (which I really enjoyed), but it's a whole new story - a prequel, I suppose.
Diana sneaks away from Themiscara with a girl that she has saved from a boating accident. The girls presence on the island starts a chain of natural disasters, so Diana helps her to leave with help from the Oracle, who also lets her into some very interesting information about the girl.
A very exciting, fast moving story.

Interesting & fast paced
This is a fairly interesting and fast paced thriller that really gets you hooked from the very start. The plot has an intriguing premise and is an entertaining whodunit. It's well written and the characters are well developed, my issue is that I can't say many of the characters are hugely likeable. The story itself takes a while to get going, but then the ending comes round far too quickly and is very much an anti climax. It's a little disappointing and some of the intended surprises aren't really as shocking as the author would like us think.

It's a good thriller and worth it just for a quick read.

Overall it was a fun read. There were some true laugh out loud moments in this book which I truly enjoyed. There were a few parts that I felt were unnecessary (personal opinion probably) but it was a fast book and felt complete in the end (somewhat) I felt perhaps the end could have been different.. but only slightly. I felt satisfied but slightly unsatisfied at the same time!

Rook is adorable and Isobel is sweet but critical of everything. It's like a glass half empty situation with that one. I really enjoyed Gadfly from the beginning, Lark was a character all on her own level - the writing was quite fast paced and seamless.

The stunts
When I first watched the first fast and furious movie 20 years ago that 20 years later I would now be watching the 9th in the franchise I've been a fan of the movies for so long the only time wasn't a fan probably Tokyo drift for me the worst of the nine. Anyway to the movie the movie has it all some amazing car stunts which gets better with every movie. John cena Is good addition to the franchise playing doms brother leaving it open for him to come back for fast 10 when it gets made make sure u stay for the credits extra which I won't give away here
