Performance Anomalies

Well after reading Performance Anomalies I'd have to say that Victor Robert Lee has created an interesting new male lead in the spy genre with his Cono character. Cono is gifted with lighting fast processing skills & reflexes which he uses to help out various international interests. You can't help but feel for Cono & his drifting life style. But I also found myself disliking him too...he seems to flit through life without laws. He is an interesting blend of personalities. I look forward to seeing how Lee decides to expand the character & the series.

Enjoyed this book immensely. I found I was constantly entertaining possible who done its through out the entire book. I found myself staying up late at night because I couldn't go to sleep because if I put the book down, I was constantly thinking about what would happen next. I was happy to finish the book and sad at the same time. This book is well thought-out and the characters are engaging from the moment they are introduced. The story line was fast paced and compelling. Fantastic read and would highly recommend this book.

Major lack of map and game variety
Echo Arena is a great game, easily one of the best multiplayer VR games to date. The fast-paced and intense gameplay is unlike anything else we’ve ever seen and the sheer skill required to nail the timing of group coordination is immensely satisfying.

Upon my first introduction to the show, I was not impressed. The story in the first two episodes moved rather slow for my taste. Fast forward a couple months and I'm home sick for two days when HBO was gearing up for season four. I gave it another chance and never looked back! This show will thrill, chill, and, sometimes, kill you! It provides more action than many blockbuster movies and has a terrific storyline that will leave you anxious for Sundays and dreading the long break between seasons.

This book is a great introduction for someone who wants to start in on the world of Stephen King but doesn't know where to begin their journey. Though it's one of his more recent pieces it's well done and easy to get sucked into what happens to the main character. This is a great example of how King can take an ordinary character and delve into who they are, but not so great at world building. Everything outside the main character has a flat feeling.

Extensive cast and amazing world building
This is an amazing book. From the first few pages you are drawn into the town of Castle Rock and greeted like an old friend. The entire style of writing is meant to make the reader feel comfortable while diving deep into the world of the characters and their lives. This is some of King's best work when it comes to character development and world building. Every character has a past to be explored and a personality to be discovered.

I loved this book! Fast, fun, and spirited (in more ways than one!), it was a great, interesting, and unique read with a wonderful heroine. I liked that it deals with both Celtic and American Indian ways, which is really different in the urban fantasy scene. Joanne was very realistic, the plot fascinating, and her sidekick, Gary, was a nice change of pace. While everyone won't like this, I highly recommend reading it anyway. I can't wait to get to get to the sequels, this is definitely one of my favorite new urban fantasy series!

The plots in the Rachel Morgan series just keep getting even more intriguing. I am (just about) fully enjoying everything in these books; the only thing I'm iffy about is the Rachel/Ivy thing. I don't know what direction Ms. Harrison is taking it, but I sincerely hope she doesn't make Rachel her scion...or more. I think it would change the whole feel of the series for me. Otherwise, her books are fun, fast paced, and fascinating. I can't wait to read the next one! :)

A short and breezy book about a girl's coming to terms with the death of a mother she never knew and her journey to discover who her mother was. The author has a light touch so while it never gets too maudlin, it nevertheless feels (mostly) realistic. There are many humorous moments along the way, as well as more and more of Ellie's friends and teachers pop up to help her. This was a fast, easy and fun little book that I would recommend for tweens and younger teens.

Received through Amazon Vine.

What happens when you only see the outside of a person. When that outside is enough to convince you that you love them. This feels like what a normal person does when they romanticize a fictional character as perfect for them.
She finds out pretty fast that there is no spark and she screwed up more than her potential for love. Now she has to fix her naive mistakes and get all the right people together.
I would equate it to a Midsummer's Night Dream but Puck didn't screw up, she did.
