Quentin Coldwater's life is changed forever by an apparently chance encounter: when he turns up for his entrance interview to Princeton he finds his interviewer dead - but a strange envelope bearing his name leads him down a very different path.
Omg I struggled all the way through this book! It’s so jump and fas forwarded so fast I felt whiplash!! Apart from one instance nothing really happened until book 2 within the whole book!! Very disappointed in all of it char were so very weak. I’m genuinely gutted because it shows so much promise!

Some people slap card too hard
Picked this up for my daughter. It is like Slap Jack, but you have to repeat taco, cat, goat, cheese, pizza in order as each player flips a card. If you flip the card that matches your word, everyone slaps the card pile, with the last person slapping taking the card pile. There are three action cards that require you to complete an action before you can slap the card. We had a lot of fun playing it for family game night, though our hands were all a little sore by the time we called it quits.

This 8th entry in the Fast & Furious series is a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, it's half a boring movie with a annoyingly cringey villain (not bashing Charlize Theron, but her character writing and direction is just awful), but on the other hand, it's more of the same stupid action that is laughably far away from the original at this point (not a bad thing). The entire last hour is ridiculous and so horrifically entertaining. Jason Statham taking out waves of thugs on an aeroplane with a gun in one hand, and a baby in the other, is definitely a series highlight. This franchise has essentially turned into that Tugg Speedman trailer from Tropic Thunder, and I'm ok with that.

This book is an introduction to this marvellous character. I admire her power and amazingly kind heart. When I was reading the book I actually felt like I was in Africa, following the character through her journey. Author made every page breath of African spirit. It is very interesting to watch Monroe interact with other characters. The book is intriguing and fast paced, in every chapter there is something happening, it is hard to put it down. There are a lot of twists and turns. It is really easy and interesting to read it. I loved the ending, its well thought through and unexpected. I recommend everyone to give it a go on this great book if you love suspense and adventures.
