"I have shared ‘Fast Food Nation’ and ‘The Omnivore’s Dilemma’ with everyone. Once you read them, you will never look at food in the same way. I believe that our food supply is not just a national issue – it is a global concern, and we should all be working together on this. I once heard that if every person in China jumped at the same time, the axis of the globe would shift. Well, we can shift the axis of this world by stopping the consumption of mass-produced food and focusing on organic and locally grown produce so we can all live longer, healthier lives while improving this beautiful planet we live on. If this book doesn’t make you eat better, I don’t know what will. By changing from consuming chemically ridden mass-produced food to eating locally grown organic food, we can give ourselves a longer and healthier life."

"I have this real image - for some reason - that it came out the summer I left prep school, and was going to public school. I was 13, and I remember playing it at a friend's house - Benjamin - and I also have this image of me sitting in the bath listening to it on the cassette machine and having to wipe my hands when I changed the tape over. I thought it was a man to begin with, when I first heard 'Fast Car' on the radio. The a capella one, 'Behind The Wall', blew my mind. There's not many records that are that concise as a piece of work, and it often happens when it's a new artist because they're not having to try so hard and they just come out with what they want. That record was a real moment, whatever that moment was."

Wonder woman 84 has sequeitis basically the first one was great we have to pump the other one fast. Patti Jenkins (hopefully I spelled it right) just was like I know what I'm doing also getting limited production with covid didn't help. I felt like steve would just come back not in someone else body would work because they did dangerous stuff and they didn't think twice or acknowledge that he really shouldn't do that. Also not rally acknowledge it I didn't think he was inhabiting another body till the end also kristen wiig's character was such a change to evil. It didn't feel like a villain for Diana, also it seems she does that character slot overall great character growth on Diana. Cheetah look could be better. It's ok

"Ok this is indirectly a bit of self promotion because I was in the film and it was my first international film which was always a life long dream. However the movie is total non-stop adrenaline. I got to know my fellow cast members well and really enjoyed the time I spent with them. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Seeing my new friends on screen was both exciting and satisfying. They did a great job and the movie is epic. I was terribly sad when I saw Paul Walker on screen. Paul and I had become friends during the shoot and he was a genuinely wonderful person. My sadness was tempered by the fact that this movie was a great tribute to Paul. I think when it comes to a high energy movie it will be hard to top Fast and Furious 7."

This had every likelihood of being a great read for me but for some reason I just didn't get into it. I didn't know it was a sequel/part of a series until reading others reviews on here, maybe it doesn't work as a standalone book for me. I felt the first 250 pages were quite boring and drawn out with unnecessary uses of media e.g. maps of where everything was in the town and social media clippings. I found DI Fawley to be unbelievable and dry, I did wonder if the author realised this and manufactured the change in sarge, which is when the pace subsequently picked up. Segments were too short and it was hard to get into the characters. The storyline was clever and well thought out with lots of twists and turns.

Curse of the Sequel Strikes Again!!
So the 1st Lego Movie was a big and very enjoyable surprise to me. I went into it not knowing what to expect and came out with a big grin on my face. So going into the 2nd Lego movie I had high expectations that it just didn't live up to.

There was still some spark but it lacked the same level of fast gagtastic pace. A lot of the gags felt a bit flat and the increase in real-world action didn't enhance the film. I know it's a Lego movie but the story just was all over the place and didn't tie anything together. For what seemed to be a simple story of sibling rivalry there was a lot of new characters; in particular Rex; that I didn't feel hit the right spot.

I was left underwhelmed.
