I love Edward Gorey, and I wish I'd have discovered his work sooner. I love the macabre stories, and the illustrations are delightfully creepy. The Hapless Child is probably my favorite story within the volume.

I loved this book! In typical Carole Matthews fashion, it was filled with twists & turns...Oh no! and Ack! moments! Any Carole Matthews book is always a favorite...but this one for sure! 10 stars!

I always love rogues as well. The ability to sneak up on people and pickpocket/lockpick makes life so much easier in the fantasy world
