This book got me through the worst breakup of my life
"I simply cannot recommend this book enough. It is a 'self-help' psychology book I suppose, but it is so much more than that. It is funny, witty, and more than anything: helpful. Whether you are in a relationship (happy or struggling), or recently single, this book will help you learn things about yourself you've never known. I hope this helps you our with 'your favorite Martian,' or 'your favorite Venusian.'" -from my Bookstagram account, rorythereader

It Continues...
Our favorite characters continue their journey. In this book I must say Arya is my favorite. She shows her true Stark strength unlike her sister whom Im beginning to get annoyed by. As the game of thrones is played characters are starting to bud into true players. Some who dont want to play the game find themselves thrust into it.

Martin does get a little wordy in this book but the plotline thickens and its worth the read. Like the other two books I couldnt put it down. My copy was just called A Storm of Swords with no other title.

Movie Favorite

"A total favorite from when I was a kid was My Bodyguard. When they’re riding together on the motorcycle it’s like one of my favorite images in a movie. I think I also like the story. That type of story has always really appealed to me, two outsiders coming together like that, basically united as a cause who are from opposite sides of the tracks. That movie is just so awesome. The two of them on the motorcycle in that one really… It’s just that image, that feeling. I watched it at the perfect time in my life. I watched it when it came out in the theater. It was very meaningful to me growing up."

Movie Favorite

"Okay, so I can think of about 300 to possibly choose, but this was one of my favorite movies when I was growing up. It’s a movie called Them!; it’s about giant ants that invade Los Angeles. My friend Paul and I, when we were growing up, we had a videotape of it and we just watched it obsessively over and over again. Especially like the first 20 or 30 minutes of it, it’s so apocalyptic and quiet and disconcerting. And the sound design [of the ants] is amazing. I was gonna pick Godfather II or something a little more predictable, but I’ll go with Them! ’cause it truly is one of my favorite movies."
