Get in the car!
One of my favorite movies. I could watch this every week for the rest my my life for some reason. Everyone and everything is so quick paced. Everyone is pretty lovable. Lots of heavy hitters in this movie that deliver subtle yet memorable scenes. Kinda nice that its about an aspiring writer.

The CG in this movie looks really good for the most part. There are a few parts where it looks really fake but the de-aging CGI was extremely well done. (0 more)
Brie Larson felt a bit flat in this movie when she was with the more dull parts of the cast. When she was with the more major parts of the cast tho she was fantastic. (0 more)
Not my favorite marvel movie but not my least favorite.
I went into this movie with lowered expectations because of the critic reviews. And I was plesently suprised by it. It's a fun movie with a strong female lead. The CGI is grwat and about 90% of the acting is fantastic. The beginning of the movie before they get to earth is a bit slow and boring, but after that it picks up and is very enjoyable.

It’s been a long space voyage, so long that the crew of the Space Warts is bored. Unfortunately, trouble finds them in the form of Commander Salamander, the notorious space pirate who is Commander Toad’s arch nemesis. He quickly boards the ship and plans to force the crew to play his favorite game, Hop the Plank. Can they get out of this situation?

I remember liking this one as a kid, but as an adult, it just doesn’t hold up well. The puns, a favorite of mine, aren’t on full display here. The twist at the end is just a bit too abrupt for me. I’m sure kids who are fans of these books will still enjoy it, however.

I think this is one of my new favorite games. I love games that have a campaign option. It allows for greater playability. This game is competitive, however, it is not a "sabotage" style of competitiveness. My friends and I tend to not handle those games well because someone always takes a move personally. In this game, there really isn't any of that. The storybook is my favorite part. We have other players read the story you land on for you and then the title of your two choices and then you decide which choice you are going to make before the rest of the story is read. It adds to the mystery! It becomes a "choose your own adventure" game and makes it possible to play the game again and again without repeating the same story line.

I adore reading Christmas books! I think I may have mentioned that a few times this year. I love the time of year and reading books specifically centered around winter and Christmas just makes everything more special. This collection of Christmas novellas is a great way to boost the Christmas spirit. Full of faith, romance, and all things Christmas.

From Wyoming to Washington, you will be swept off your feet as these couples conquer the odds and true love prevails.

Snuggle up in your favorite reading spot with a blanket and mug of your favorite steaming beverage (if you have a fireplace, even better), and get lost in the mountains of the west.

I received a copy of Mountain Christmas Brides from Carrie Turansky as a gift. I was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are mine alone.
