One of my favorite films.

I have to admit, this is one of my favorite films from this year, so far. It has you hooked right from the beginning. The different types of camera angles used gives it a more sort of fantasy feel. I loved the fact that they had different characters as well and their deaths were unsuspecting.

I was a little confused by the timeline, as I felt it should have been Victorian era rather than an "up-to-date" feel.

The only let down was that I felt that there had been too much CGI used, which was a disappointment, however, saying that, leaving it where it did, I hope that there will be a sequel.

Overall, a fantastic film and would definitely recommend watching.

I received an eARC when I signed up to host the book tour. I made no guarantee of a favorable review and the opinions expressed here are unbiased and my own.

Before you sit down to read this historical romance I highly suggest you gather some tissues as this gut wrenching and heart breaking story will have you crying just as it made me cry. This read will hold you in its captivating story line from beginning to end. The story and characters are simply amazing and you will ride an overwhelming roller coaster full of love and heartache.

I have many favorite quotes from this book but I must say that this one is truly my favorite of all: "I guess we're both birds with broken wings, unable to fly away."

I highly recommend this emotional read and I give it 5 Stars.

Greatest sci-fi film of all time.
Not too often you can say a film is perfect in every way, but you can with 2001: A Space Odyssey. Screw movies of today which have to explain everything away or the movie itself is just a set up for the never-ending series of films to follow.

You have to appreciate the visuals, music, and unforgettable vagueness of this film and just soak it all in like looking at a beautiful painting by your favorite artist or listening to your favorite song and repeat it over and over again.

After seeing this movie 20+ times, I see new subtleties in it every time and enjoy it completely every time. Probably an acquired taste for today's generation of MCU fans, but certainly worth your time.

As far as superhero movies go, you very rarely get to see villians team up to become the good guys. This movie provides us with the chance to see some of our favorite villians turned hero. (0 more)
The only bad thing I can really say about the movie is that the sequence of events kinda gets scrambled at first, bit eventually comes together in the end. (0 more)
Family Fun
All in all the movie wasnt half bad, what with the great all-star casting from Will Smith to Margot Robbie and what not. Our favorite super villians playing at a chance to become the good guys definitely does make an impact on us. We are always assuming that the bad guy HAS to be the bad guy FOREVER, this movie just goea to show that even the "Worst of the Worst" can be good on the inside.

I loved Katie Alender’s Bad Girls Don’t Die series. I was ecstatic to find out she had written another horror ghost story. Miss Alender did not disappoint me with the Dead Girls of Hysteria Hall.

This was a book I didn’t want to put down. I would have read it all in one sitting too had it not been for real life getting in they way.

I loved all the characters and felt they were well written. Florence was my favorite character though for some reason.

The story line was well written. Plus, I love horror stories where an old house is involved.

Yes, some of the plot twists are predictable, and there were times I had some unanswered questions, but I still loved the book.

I would definitely recommend this book. I’m hoping Miss Alender will write another horror ghost story soon. She’s definitely one of my favorite authors.

Okay, it is official... I am putting this book in my "did not finish" pile. Rohypnol, rape, murder, and horrible writing/characters these are a few of my least favorite things. I haven't put a book in this list in well... forever. I am creating a "did not finish" shelf just for this book.

1st, the characters are 1 dimensional. I made it to page 90 and I just had to stop reading. The characters fell very flat.

2nd, this book reads like a high schooler's wet dream. There is the threat of rape, rape, and well... lots of sex.

3rd, I felt like the writer decided to add "big words" just to feel like a good writer. It felt like the writer had to use a thesaurus constantly.

I really wanted to like this book. It is suspense/romance which is my favorite genre but it just fell flat.
