Alicia S (193 KP) rated Forever Rockers in Books
Sep 28, 2018
OH, what an ending to an incredible series!? I've missed a few here and there (which Ill surely be catching up on) but this has been one of my favorite rocker series! This last book was the perfect ending.. still plenty of action, crazy events and hot a$$ sex scenes, while I loved that we were able to touch in on everyone's story. It was a perfect closing to the wild ride we've had with all the guys, and my god will I miss them!? HIGHLY recommended book & series!!

Oh, Sandra Brown, you never disappoint!
There's a reason Sandra Brown is one of my favorite authors, and Tailspin just cements her more solidly on that list. Another fast-paced ride into suspense (and romance!). Great story - well-researched and believable. I found the aviation aspect very interesting. Terrific characters that will elicit a wide range of emotions from the reader, from "OMG I hate her, she's a terrible person" to "Aww, I really hope things work out for him." I enjoyed this one from beginning to end.

Not my favorite by Shari Lapena … Really slow for me and only picked up at the end. Didn't particularly care for how this story was written, going from different characters and there were a lot of characters. The plot of the story was good, the characters all going to an inn for a weekend getaway, the power goes out and characters start getting killed but it just dragged for me. Yes it had some twists but not a lot of thrill moments. It was just an ok thriller to me.

Yoshi (40 KP) rated Megatokyo, Volume 3 in Books
Oct 29, 2018
Megatokyo is by far my favorite webcomic. I cannot tell you how many times it has made me cry after spending about 5 minutes laughing my head off because it is that funny. Although you can read it on line for free, it is better to read it in book form if you can find it because it flows more easily that way. In my opinion this is probably the volume where the story starts getting really good, and the writer's art style has improved from the first book.

Willow and Tara (1 more)
Hush
Riley (1 more)
Adam
One of my favorite seasons of all seven season now in college angel gone but same old buffy this the season where are more grown up season of change and for willow the introduction of Tara a fellow witch and there budding relationship worst part of the season is the introduction of Riley finn and his commando squard but overall good season stand out episode hush entre episode no taking and the gentlemen one of the best buffy villians way better than Adam
I love anthologies. Especially ones that don't have to go with the rest of the series just expands upon the universe. Unlike some you have to read or you know you're missing something crucial between books 3 and 4( for example). There are spoilers in this anthology however Patricia Briggs does a good job letting you know and where the stories fit inside the Mercy and Alpha and Omega universe. My favorite is the Ben story Redemption out of all her characters he has the most personal growth.

Cori June (3033 KP) rated Le Morte Darthur: Selections in Books
Dec 3, 2018
Finally finished! Not a horrible book as a collection of semi continuous folklore tales go, if you can get through the old English and realizing words don't have the same meaning as they do today. How I think of worship is not what they meant at all, at all. And there are No Quotations to let you know who is saying what. Favorite phrase is "wonderfully wroth." Just don't forget: an can mean and, but,or if. But can mean and. And if can mean anything.
Just don't get lost in the confusion of pronouns.

O.M.G. The beginning of this film will make you cry. The whole film runs a little long, there are too many dog gags and my patience with the small mailman was paper thin. Definitely worth watching for the beginning and the end though. The animation was spectacular. The video game for this is impossible, at least for me. Not my favorite Disney film but, heh heh, it’s up there.

If the Shining happened in an Ikea
Honestly one of my favorite covers because people keep thinking I studying an Ikea catalogue very thoroughly!
This book was just so much fun and had a really great balance when it came to the horror and comedy which for me just doesn't always come through when I'm reading books. But Grady Hendrix just really had a way with the genre. I bought this book first but ended up reading My Best Friends Exorcism first and that was also a great read.

Sarah Betts (103 KP) rated The Mummy, the Will, and the Crypt (Johnny Dixon, #2) in Books
Dec 31, 2019
I'd honestly forgotten how good this one is!
Hi Fergie!
So, it deals with fear on two different levels. The fear of abandonment. Grandma has a brain tumor and his dad's plane is shot down.
And fear of the supernatural. An evil person with a magic box that can turn people into mummies.
Johnny's determination to find the will and the way he goes about it is one of my favorite things. Because he's far from perfect but even with the mistakes he makes, Johnny is a good bean.
