The first modern day Spider Man movie. Of all of the spider man movies this one to me seems to follow the comic on really how he bacme the famous super hero. We see the nerdy love struck Peter Parker get bit by a genetically enhanced spider and get multiple talents of the spider. Once he has learned of his powers we see the typical MCU plot of a family member gets killed and he vows revenge to make it right but, by doing so he learns that revenge isn't always important but helping others from suffering the same fate is more important. We see him square off against the Green Goblin who is today still one of my favorite villains in all of the MCU

Oh my gosh! So this book took me forever to get through, but it is not at all because it wasn't that great. Honestly this has been my favorite of the entire series so far. How can you not fall in love with Jace? And Clary, talk about a bad ass female character who isn't too over the top with her "bad assness."
This book had so many twists & turns throughout the entire thing. I love that in a book & this one didn't disappoint! So much more of the story becomes clear once you read the whole thing. But it also leaves some unanswered questions too so you know the next installment won't disappoint. I can't wait to get started on it!

The first wors that pops into my head as I sit here trying to think of what to write is moving. I don't know what else to say about this book. I love reading anything about the Holocaust (The Book Theif being another favorite.) I wasn't sure about this one just from reading the back cover. I'm thrilled however that I didn't let that deter me from reading this book.
There are so many twists and turns. The past is firmly and solidly entwined with the present. I love that this book was able to teach me more about occupied France during WWII. Most books focus on Poland or Germany. I like that this book captivated without being too familiar.

Cheap and Easy
Wish is an app where you buy goods directly from China, thus allowing for super cheap pricing and sometimes questionable quality. I have bought countless items from them in nearly every category and have rarely been burned. One the couple of occasions I have had an issue (a hole in a pair of pants, an item that never showed up) the customer service was apologetic and quickly refunded me for the items. My favorite things to get from wish are sunglasses and jewelry items, but you can get pretty much ANYTHING - just be prepared to wait for it, as most things will take around a month to arrive.

No Strings Attached by NSYNC
No Strings Attached by NSYNC
2000 | Pop
No Strings Attached may be my favorite NSYNC album, it varies upon how I'm feeling. I listened to it so much, I had to buy another copy because my CD player/Walkman wouldn't play it anymore without skipping.
This album was the first released on Jive, after NSYNC won the court battle with Lou Pearlman. That whole situation paid off, because it was the fastest-selling album ever at the time. Bye Bye Bye and It's Gonna Be Me, are the most famous songs NSYNC ever put out, and routinely, every April 30th, the 'It's Gonna Be May' memes make their way around the Facebook. NSYNC definitely made catchy songs, and while they may seem dated, they still bring joy (at least, to me).

The New Warriors had a very slow start for me, it wasn't until more than halfway that it finally started to click, and not because of some datedness. I think the writers and artists started finding their characters and where to go and how to get there. I happen to like some of retro-ness of the "heroes for the nineties" as is emblazoned a few places. Skateboards, blatant Batman rip-off, cheesy humor and slang, mention of one of my favorite shows ever (21 Jump Street); yeah, I'm not ashamed, I love it. Some of the little adverts or whatsits after the extra artwork were cute too. There are some genuinely great moments nearer the end and look forward to more.

A lot of fun and a good story underneath all the humor.
Had been entertained by the multiple trailers for the movie, so heading in I was hoping for good things. Film took the trailer funnies and expanded on them. There's your expected internet jokes and memes, all integrated well into the retro characters from your favorite video games. The part, however, that really stuck out to me was the amazing story underneath all the humor. Movie tells a heartfelt tale of friendship, letting go, and the true bonds we make with those we love. Also loved how all the extra characters from other games and films were integrated in without damaging their respective stories and/or morals previously established. Job well done. Disney.

Wish death's voice was more grandiose (0 more)
Fun show witty and humorous. I am a huge fan of Terry Pratchett and Niel Gaiman; I was excited to know that Niel helped with the TV writing. If you're a fan of the book or not, hopefully you enjoy it as much as I have watching it as I. The only complaint is that I wish Death's voice was a little more grandiose, the hollowness of it was great but it wasn't as large as I thought it could have been, as Terry Pratchett's Death is one of my top three favorite Death Characters in more than a bit picky about it; his acting was spot on.

Everything Lavinia Kent writes is gold. From her characters to her story, it is easy to read the love and work she puts into every word. I am enamored with her complex characters who stories grab you from the very beginning and keep you hooked until the end. She has the ability to make her erotic scenes both intimate and tantalizing.

I have been waiting for Ruby’s story for a while now. As one of my favorite secondary characters, I was interested in story and HEA. Kent did not disappoint. A Very Ruby Christmas was everything I wanted and more, everything I didn’t know I was asking for. I couldn’t be happier with the story and how it ended.

Any regular reader of Board Game Quest probably knows by now my love for cooperative board games. Much likes playing the game of Craps in the casino, it’s a lot of fun to have a group of people working together towards a common goal. You win together, you lose together. Thus, enter the newest cooperative board game to get reviewed here: Space Alert.
It also has the honor of being, spoiler alert, my absolute favorite cooperative board game on the market today. Space Alertcombines chaotic real time game mechanics with cooperative game play for what amounts to a really fun experience.
