Conjured begins where the first book left us; mourning the loss of a character. In this book we are afforded the opportunity to continue to see the deepening relationship of Alexandria and Peter. Alexandria's powers truly begin to develop and we are knocked off of our feet by startling revelations and developments along the way.

The cliff hanging ending of book two took my breathe away and I cannot wait to read the next book. Chelsea will quickly become a new favorite author for those looking for an amazing and spellbinding writer. This is a must read book for both young and old alike.

I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was a really cute book but it felt like it was missing something. The pictures were very solid and adorable. Guinnevere Shuster definitely has a talent for photography. My main issue with this book was the writing. The descriptions were all over the place and I wasn't too impressed. Some of the descriptions were in past tense and some in present.

I loved the photos but the text was not my favorite.

Ultimately, if you want a book that is full of completely adorable dogs, this is the book for you!

I really enjoyed this book. It combines two of my favorite things. Mozart and Vampires. It was a different read for me and I enjoyed the different representation of vampires. It was not all seduction or all blood. I think the one thing that made this book fascinating to me is that I was very fortunate to see Don Giovanni performed and that helped me understand the book more and relate the book to the play. This was a good read that combines opera, vampires, and surviving life.

I would definitely recommend this book to individuals who enjoy opera (especially Don Giovanni) and vampires.

Very quickly becoming one of my favorite mystery/PI series.
I was a bit late coming to the Dan Reno series by Dave Stanton and I'll surely be catching up quickly! As a lover of both crime stories and TV shows, I'm left feeling like every book is like THE best episode of your favorite crime show. Never a dull moment, Dan's laid-back attitude has me laughing every time and I can't help but both laugh and shake my head at Cody constantly. Quick-paced, yet easy to follow, I couldn't put this one down and finished it in a day. Very quickly becoming one of my favorite mystery/PI series.

This book was full of sarcasm and snark. Therefore I loved it. The main characters did not have a hero complex at all like most zombie type books. The Rules made me laugh. KL was my favorite because I just want to be like her. I am glad I got this recommendation or I may never have found this book and author. I will be reading more, including Vol. 2.

This book is simply amazing. J.R. Ward really knows how to create a series with characters that you will love. Zsadist is by far one of my favorite characters. His brokenness is beautiful in his on twisted way.

I am glad that I reread this book. It really is so beautiful and heart wrenching. I cried, I laughed, and I wanted to scream. Do yourself a favor and read this series.

Interesting

I liked the outline of the story, I read it before I got the book. It was a bit of a roller coaster, a lot of things happened to the couple and you keep thinking that this has to be the end. But it's not, it keeps going. Overall it was not my favorite book, but I didn't stop reading it because I truly did like the storyline.

"One novel that I think will always be a personal favorite of mine is Room. The book is a force of nature: harrowing one moment, poignant the next. I can think of few books that so powerfully convey the lengths we will go to as parents to keep our children safe. And that voice? Brilliant. This is a book that gave me one whopper of an inferiority complex as a writer."

"This is my favorite collection of short stories, and every time I pick it up, it reminds me that there is a genius on Earth with heart and humor so evolved I have to wonder if she is from the future. This book breaks my brain open so it can grow. I'll be sitting there on my island, praying that someone will drop Barrodale's next book on my head from heaven."

"Written by my other favorite Irish writer, this book couldn’t be more different in tone than “The Butcher Boy,” but is no less captivating. In this beautifully mediative tale, Alexander Cleave is a celebrated actor who returns to live in his childhood home. The book seemingly has little or no plot but the sheer towering beauty of its language, atmosphere and insight make it impossible to put down or to forget."
