"Next is The Color Purple, for obvious reasons. The first way I came to it was the film, a bit before I read the book. And it has some of my favorite people in it. And I think I’ve met them now, strangely enough, most of those people from the film."

This was one of my favorite books that Ms.Kendig has written. The characters and the story plot kept you moving along through the entire book, you never knew what would come next. I will definitely read more of her books in the future.Thank you Ms.Ronie Kendig for writing a splended story.

"Shonda [Rhimes] is a rock star and a superhero, and if you have not read her book, it should be your New Year’s resolution for 2016. You should read Year of Yes. It is one of my most favorite books I have ever read—and I like books. It’s so good"

"This book was my late sister Thomasina’s favorite as a child, though it is close to my heart for other than sentimental reasons, too. Within its prettily illustrated story about a fussy eater, it is understanding and touching about the fears and joys of food, and of childhood. So enduringly touching."

There is a new book out for the holiday season. I know children are excited for them to come. This latest book, "Rambee Boo & and the Christmas Sock," has just been released. What a lovely story and heartfelt to get into the Christmas spirit.

I thought this was adorable. The first page has something special. What is Rock reading? Can you spot it? Maybe your child can. This book counts down to Christmas and gets the house ready. Will Rock and the family find Rambee Boo's favorite sock?

I find this book to be great for children to learn a few skills and reading skills. Children can somewhat play hide and seek with trying to find Rambee Boo's favorite sock. Can you see it or your child or children? There is rhyming in this book as well. What adventure will Rambee Boo get into during this holiday season?

The pictures are enjoyable to look at and done well. Children will love following Rock and Rambee Boo as they search and look for the sock. There are holiday traditions shown throughout the book, along with getting the house decorated for Christmas. Will Rambee Boo find his favorite sock, or will he be sad. You do not know, but a Christmas miracle can happen. I hope your children enjoy this book and continue to believe in Christmas magic.

I wonder what Rambee Boo's next adventure will be? I can't wait to find out more and read more to see what's in store for Rambee Boo and his family.

Three to Get Deadly was my favorite book in the Stephanie Plum series so far. As usual it was unpredictable & didn't try too hard. I found myself laughing out loud at several points in the book. My favorite was when all her elderly neighbors came out carrying handguns, shotguns, & assalt rifles when they heard a gunshot come from Plum's apartment. That would be quite a sight!
This story line was the most interesting in the series to this point. There were lots of twists & turns. The secret life of the neighborhood ice cream & candy man being the most interesting. Just goes to show that you never truly know what someone does behind closed doors! UGH!

It Continues...
Our favorite characters continue their journey. In this book I must say Arya is my favorite. She shows her true Stark strength unlike her sister whom Im beginning to get annoyed by. As the game of thrones is played characters are starting to bud into true players. Some who dont want to play the game find themselves thrust into it.

Martin does get a little wordy in this book but the plotline thickens and its worth the read. Like the other two books I couldnt put it down. My copy was just called A Storm of Swords with no other title.

If you're a Berenstain Bears fan growing up. Then this book is a must-have for your collection or your child's bookshelves. This book deals with the Christmas season and the tradition of Christmas caroling. This one put the bear family on a sleigh and caroling of Jingle Bells.

Sister Bear seems to have questions about some of the Christmas carols that are sung. You learn about some sweetly. This book takes us on a journey through the neighborhood and sings songs. The pictures are done well. Quick and easy to read.

It is also good to add to your advent calendar if you open new books and old ones for your advent calendar. You can create a new tradition by doing so. You can just read it at bedtime. Children will learn new things throughout the book and teach a lesson differently.

The Berenstain Bears Go Christmas Caroling is good for the season and holiday. These books are best for teaching and just learn some lessons. Children will learn something from each book. The pictures are done well. They are cute and enjoyable. Parents will want to read these books to their child or children throughout the year. These books are classics and a favorite. They will become a favorite of your child or children once you get them reading them. They are a favorite of mine and still are.

A Great book !
I got totally engrossed in this story and truly learned some new things ! It made me want to read the other books in this series that Barbour Publishing is putting out. This was such rich historical story it was like being there! Kathleen Y'Barbo really made history come alive in this book and it is filled with adventure.
While it was not my favorite book by Kathleen Y'Barbo it really was a great read and kept me interested throughout the whole book.
I give this book 4 out of 5 stars, for good history, lovely characters, and family focus.
I volunteered to read this book from Barbour Publishing in return for my honest opinion. The thoughts and opinions expressed within are my own.
