Why did I choose to read this book?
I chose to read this book because it was sent to me as an arc

Did I like it? I love it it's a very emotional story

Five things I liked about this book (Spoiler Warning skip to one character I disliked if you don't want spoiler's):
1. I love how the main character isn't like all the other girls.
2. I love how Michael saved her. I knew he was the one that veiled her from the beginning.
3. I love the love story between her and Ryker. I love how she ends up having his baby and she ends up being the one she dreams about.
4. I love how she helps the other Grace Year girls and the Grace Year girls in the years to come.
5. I love how she didn't judge Gertie like the others and ended up being friends with her in the end.

One character I disliked: Michael's father

Do I recommend this book? Yes, it's a very wonderful book. It's very emotional and has an unexpected turn of events and ending.

What is one similar book I think you'd like if you also love this book? Hunger Games or Divergent or Maze Runner

Questions for you:
1. Have you read this book? How'd you like it?
2. Who was your favorite character?
3. What's your favorite book and author?

Interesting Book
This book follows the story of Ben. In his younger days he wrote songs for a small band that gained some popularity. The story shows the reader how Ben got to where he is, and why he views music the way he does.
While the main plot is about Ben and his music a lot of other stuff is going on. My favorite thing about this book is that it takes what would normally be considered obscure or random, such mushroom hunting, grave digging, and yarn bombing, and makes them really interesting parts of the story. If you're looking for a good story that is a little different this is a book for you.

I have had this book on mt 'list' for awhile. It was worth the wait. It mixed two of my favorite genres of dystopian and lesbian fiction together. It was well researched and written. The characters were realistic and for the most part likable(there were a few you wanted to slap). The ending could have been better or another book could be written to continue the story. It just left me wanting more which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Trixie isn't looking for a mystery when she and her friends head to Cobbett's Island. However, their first night there, they find a letter that suggests there is a treasure nearby. With their new friend Peter, can they find it? This is my second favorite book in the series. The characters are wonderful and the plot is very well done.

I’m usually a bit hesitant to stray from my favorite authors and this time was no different. However, I’m soo glad I did! You want action, mystery, romance, betrayal? It’s all here. The best part is that it’s all here without the usual angsty cliches normally found in books that are listed as YA. I’m not going to recap the book, you can read the cover yourself. Read the book, read the series, you won’t regret it!!

Okay, I really wanted to love this book. It combines one of my favorite books (World War Z) and Vampires! Unfortunately, this book felt way too similar to World War Z that I couldn't help but compare it to Max Brooks' novel. The stories are mingled together and it felt that at times the storylines jumped around. I was never really invested in the characters and many of the short stories were flat.

Ultimately, I wasn't too disappointed, but I wasn't impressed either.

This is the third book in this series. I read the all three books in a matter of days after watching the movie. I really liked this story. I felt that it was a great ending for the story and character arcs and also felt that the theme of going away to college and what that means for you and your relationships is important. I liked the first book best, then this was my second favorite, but all are good! Go read them!

Book Favorite

"Like Orwell, Twain is better-known for his canonical fiction, but he was also a genius of observation, and this early work, which is broadly non-fiction, about his early career as a riverboat pilot, is my favorite. It’s not uproarious, like “Roughing It,” but it dives deep into its milieu. “The face of the water, in time, became a wonderful book—a book that was a dead language to the uneducated passenger, but which told its mind to me without reserve.”"
