Rom-com love story (1 more)
Relatable
I absolutely LOVED this book!
I absolutely LOVED this book!
Piper and Roman we're perfection, there story was very believable despite the fact that it was a tad cliche, but maybe that's exactly what made it so amazing.
I started reading this book last night around ten and had to literally force myself to close the book and go to sleep at 4 am. Soon as I woke up I picked it up again and finished it and I was not dissapointed.
Piper is a relatable character, the fact she loves rom-coms and John Cusack is her favorite (because he's also mine) made for a connection to her that I rarely get with characters. This story was my high school fantasy and it was written out beautifully.
Honestly, I can't rave about this book enough. I will be re-reading it because this is my new rom-coms read and I can't wait to see Piper and Roman again.
I recieved a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I'm trying to write this review and of course I'm having a hard time seeing through the tears that continue to run down my face. This book took me longer to finish reading as I have arcs that I need to read as well but I enjoyed every single moment of this book.
America's story was such an emotional roller coaster ride for me and the losses were at times overwhelming. I will say that this one was truly my favorite and I can read it over and over again. Cannot wait to delve into The Heir!

[Preston Fleming] is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. With the third installment of his Kamas Trilogy he again kept me up reading late at night. [Exile Hunter] was the strongest book in the trilogy and that is saying a lot since I loved them all. Also in my experience trilogies third book is usually the weakest.
The intertwining character relationships kept you wanting more. I also like how what you read about in the first two books was reinforced and the story truly continued.
I will be looking for more books by Mr. Fleming.

This book was so much better than I thought it was going to be. I do not know what I was expecting going in, but this book was blew any and all expectations out of the water. For me, it has everything that makes an books great: historical BDSM erotica. It is so hard to find good historical erotica (I would know since it is my favorite sub-genre) especially with non-disappointing BDSM. If you are a fan of good historical BDSM with a good storyline and interesting characters, this is definitely a novel you do not want to pass up!
I was hoping for more out of this book. It was a bit shocking at times and I had to keep reading to find out what happened, but when it was over....I wasn't impressed.
It was a bit spiritual and historical but a bit far fetched. I really wanted it to be more descriptive and delve a bit more into the characters and their relationships. I got confused sometimes as to who was who in the town and how they were related.
It was interesting and kept my interest til the end but wasn't my favorite book. Just Ok I'd say.

One of my favorite book series
This book series is so under-rated! It's got a great story line and is an all around great young adult read. Just a little background, a girl gets moved from Illinois to Georgia because her dad got a better job. On top of not knowing many people, weird things start happening to her she then gets help from a lady in town to use her new gift. When she teams up with a few kids from school they become a great team in helping the lost souls in her historic new town.

When Garth Carson finds a squirrel puppet from a favorite childhood show, he thinks he's found a nostalgic goldmine. Instead, he soon finds a body and a conspiracy that seems too hard to believe. In fact, that was one problem I had with the book, I just couldn't believe it. The characters were also too thin. And the "comic" part of the comic caper? Not really that funny. I did find the climax over the top yet fun, however.

Don't judge a book by it's cover is something I've been told since I was little. It's something I still do and this story showed me how that bleeds into judging people and why first impressions are important we most certainly should never judge a person based on our assumptions. I enjoyed reading this book the story was slightly frustrating in parts but I simply think the author was just trying to emphasize the conflict so that the light of why we shouldn't judge would be brighter. I also loved the poetry along the way one of my favorite parts of the chapters.
