At times it might seem to ramble on to long about something seemingly unimportant, but it is a surprising and riveting read. Hardly a "feel-good" book, but anyone who likes dark, twisty fiction should enjoy it.

Took a while to get into but I did get hooked. Being quite repetitive in some places cost this book a star, however, the strong emotions this book made me feel made it a very good read.

feel-good that makes you feel good (0 more)

Let me paint you a picture. It's day 39 of quarantine. My roommate and I are working our way through my Netflix list and he's never seen Click. I think, oh my gosh, I love this film we have to watch it. Little did I know, I forgot how it ends. So we get to the last 20 minutes of the film and Michael dies outside the hospital and I am bawling my eyes out - ugly crying, hysterical, the world is ending, I'm losing it. I call my mom to calm down but it doesn't really work that well. I'm still just CRYING like a maniac. We finish the film and I end up crying even more because he lives and it was just a dream and he gets a chance to live the life he truly wants.

Needless to say, I liked this film. Obviously it's cheesy and a bit dumb, given that it's an Adam Sandler film, but I still enjoyed it. It pulls at the heartstrings, makes you laugh, it's a feel-good that will make you feel good.

Hammer time!
A very good comic based action film. It didn't quite live up to the hype for me, still feel there are a few better super hero films around. It was very entertaining though, with a well chosen cast, slick SFX , good battle scenes and some light hearted humour. A fun film that hammers the action in!

"The way that he communicates is really good for any sort of lyricist to read. He’s so good at being really vulnerable and exposing things about himself that no-one else would ever talk about. But he does it in a way that’s so human and so comical, that I feel like it’s really inspiring for any other writer."

Not much to say about Fant4stic that hasn't already been said. I feel that there's a good movie in there somewhere (right in the depths) and I believe Josh Trank when he talks about severe studio meddling.
The finished product however is a trainwreck. I thought The Thing looked quite good. Dr Doom looks like an actual gimp.
