I have read a few books by Harry Manners and have enjoyed them all but The Ruin Saga just leaves me wanting more. I would compare it to S.M. Stirling's Change books which are some of my favorite. Mr. Manners does such a good job with character development that you feel that you actually know these people an are invested in what happens to them. Brink continues the story that was left off in Ruin and is just as good if not better. My only gripe is that I have to wait for more.

THIS MOVIE IS SO PURE. Hearts Beat Loud‘s tagline is “The Feel Good Movie We Need Right Now” and I don’t know if I can describe it any better. It has great acting, great music, a great story about relationships and love and real-life problems, great design and editing, great everything. I could try and go into details but it just feels like I can say “every bit of it feels good” and tell you the music will be stuck in your head for months and call it a day.

Great Survival Horror
This was a very good survival horror game back in the day. It had the feel of a teen, slasher film and reminded me of The Faculty quite a bit. Apart from the Resident Evil games and The Suffering there weren't many Survival Horror games about for the Xbox. The gameplay was very atmospheric, you often needed a torch to search around the school at night. It had a co-op mode for a second player. A great game for the time.

I have a love of Fairy Tales so I was really excited to have the opportunity to read this novella. Unfortunately, I wasn't a huge fan of it. I tend to like stories where I am connected to the character. I really didn't feel connected to any of the characters nor did the story hold my attention.
The writing was good, but the twist in the story was extremely predictable and was a little disappointing.
Ultimately, I'm giving this 2 stars. The writing was good but the story missed the mark for me.

I barely got past the first episode. It was awful and felt like it was just trauma for the sake of shock and trauma. It did not feel like a horror show at all and considering what we BIPOC have been through and continue to deal with, this felt insulting and not thought provoking. The only good thing the show had going for it was beautiful visuals. You're better off avoiding Them altogether. It is not a good show, it's troubling, and it should not have been made.

Dizzy Heights
A very enjoyable film for the most part and definitely does a great job of making you feel like you are there high up in peril as well. Vertigo inducing effects as the two girls are stuck up one of the highest structures in the US. Unfortunately there are a couple of plot developments or holes that are a bit annoying, but hard to ignore. It was going to be 7/10 before these things crop up. On the whole though a very good situation thriller.

Odd Thriller
A reasonable but slightly odd quirky Thriller. From the Trailer you guess there is going to be some weird quirky reveal into what is going on. The sets and feel of the film look good and with a good Cast. Just took a bit long to get to the reason of what was going on and why. One for those who enjoy films that are very different to the norm if far from a classic.

This Amazon Original does feel like a big budget cinema Film. It has a good cast, big budget effects and some great action scenes.
A mix of @Happy Death Day (2017) meets @Live Die Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow (2014) as an ex special forces guy lives and dies the same day over and over. Can he survive long enough to find out how to break the cycle. If you like the films mentioned along with some good humour and plenty of action, then load this up.

reassuringly yet terrifyingly relatable lyrics in terms of their expression of deep, personal emotions that are often hard to articulate
immersive sounds to get lost in
harrowing and beautiful in equal measures, this is one of my favourite second albums of all time. Ben Howard takes an incredibly dark direction in his second album, drawing upon some of the deeper, sadder, darker themes that had crept into his debut album but here confronts the darkness head on

I probably like this movie more than the people who made it!

"The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill" ...
"Something to Tide You Over" ...
"The Crate" ...
"They're Creeping Up on You" ...
The Crate is definitely my favorite, but all 5 segments are good in their own way. I love the use of color, the changing of color and the way George Romero made the film look and feel like the horror comic it is based on.
The campy feel is part of the fun, but the film still has some gory and chilling moments.
