Feels like you're there in the park
Hell of a ride
Finally got to see this on Netflix today as I missed it at the cinema. It looked good from the trailer. Fairly low budget but it has a good premise of some friends enjoying a Halloween night at a Horror theme park. It wasn't particularly scary but the setting definitely made the film more fun as you feel like you are experiencing the park as well. Definitely more of a a slow stalk and slash film with a couple of gore scenes as well. If you are after a decent Horror film for this Halloween add this to your list and enjoy your ride to Hell Fest!
Good survival horror
Absolutely loved this book. I think what i liked most is the fact of when its written and when its based. With it being late 1970's there are no computers, internet or mobile phones to help people. Its brilliantly written and you really get a feel for the hopelessness and terror that people would have felt. Good story and excellent character development. What stood out is though there is a main character, he never comes across as angelic or a person that is going to save the world, like a super hero. He is just a man with a daughter who he would do anything to save, and i mean anything :)

Okay?
This was marketed as a dystopia, but it’s really more post-Apocalypse fiction. There’s a fine line between the two – and sometimes things can straddle it – but I wouldn’t call this a dystopia. So I’m a little disappointed there. Otherwise, it was good. I’m left not really sure how I should feel about it, though. I prefer books that make me feel a certain way – romances make me happy, non-fiction usually makes me feel smarter, like I’ve learned something, graphic novels make me nostalgic. I’m even okay with books like The Fault in Our Stars, or The Crown’s Game, that left me a weeping mess. Station Eleven just left me with an “…o-kay?” Like, what am I supposed to do with this? Unlike most dystopias, I don’t feel like it was a social commentary because it’s post-apocalyptic. (In this case, a virus swept through and killed about 99% of Earth’s population.) But at the same time, because it details events both before and after the apocalypse, I feel like it was trying to be?

My wonderful friend brought me this and it arrived today, and I finished it in the space of 3 hours. It was so good. I absolutely adored it. I have watched the film a number of times, and as someone who struggles with ill mental health, among other bits, it often is one I struggle with. But the book, wow. Just amazing. I laughed so hard in places, and I nearly cried in others. It is so good and I feel so lucky to be able to relate to something so profound.I will update this with a much better review soon.

Good but missing something
Overall the movie was pretty good. The characters, the main ones at least, held my attention for the duration of the film. There weren't any dead spots. But I would have loved to have had a back story. They need to really make a prequel to explain why this version of the world exists.

Don't believe the critics reviews! Can't believe this scored 32% on Rotten Tomatoes. The franchise is back on track after the below par previous installment. The Sfx are very good and the overall feel of the film is more like the first three films. It ties in nicely with elements to the first three films as well. Faded a bit towards the end, but this series isn't dead in the water.

This was a series that was a spin off of vampire diaries but I feel was so much better. I love the way it ended but not that it ended. This follows the story of the original vampire family and how they became so cruel,also how in a way how they became good again. Thought a little mirical baby names hope, and how in the end why she became an orphan. If you love a good witch, vampire, werewolf fued this is just a must see.

So the cover and synopsis looked and sounded amazing for this book. .. Unfortunately it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. I was expecting. ...more. I'm not sure exactly but I felt like it was missing stuff. I also didn't know it was the 2nd in the serious which might be what I'm missing. I feel like it was long enough to learn the characters then ends. It was good. . The plot has amazing potential to be even more and the characters caught me. I was just wishing for more Dragon I think. Overall not a bad book.

This book is quite sweet. It was good book to read. Things start to happen in Bearville once a family moves there. Charlotte does not feel like she belong in this new town. It get more interesting as you read. It a great book for children, It also funny book. I had enjoyed so much that I think if you are looking for fun look story for Halloween this is a good one.
