Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot released new photos for the next Wonder Woman film, WW 1984... I have mixed feelings.

I agree about the reappearance of Steve Trevor, and messing with what's already been covered in BvS and JL. It's a pretty bold move to be releasing this as one of the first images from the movie and they must have been counting on this kind of discussion when they did it. I can only hope that there's a damn good reason for him being in the movie that will explain all of this away.
