This is a very well-written book with a powerful narrative which is incredibly vivid. It is a shocking plot which describes the unthinkable in a very moving and sensitive way. A triumphant insight into a mother's feelings for her family and how she copes when this is torn apart.

Huh. Kou, if only you hadn't waited so long to decide to return her feelings, she's so annoyed at you right now--and me too!

I'm still liking the whole dynamic of the five-some, though admittedly it's more of a three and a two. They get along so well together.
