I Lost Myself When I Lost You....
Losing someone close to you is one of the most painful feelings you will ever experience.
You feel like your heart is being ripped out of your chest, you can't breathe, you can't cry because you're all cried out and you're just in shock.
You keep thinking that any second now you will see them walk in through the door and hug and kiss you like they used to.

Trés Horny Boys 4 lyf
I've listened to the McElroy family's 1st D&D campaign, The Balance Arc through at least twice, and it gives me all of the feelings.
It's like reading a really good fantasy series, except you had a full cast narrating and none of them knew what was going to happen.
The boys are now on their second arc, Amnesty. Already I'm feeling in love with these characters. Griffin is such a good storyteller (they all are).
Thank you brothers (and Clint) for the beautiful and hilarious stories.

Beautiful Infertility Memoir
I believe this is a book that anyone dealing with fertility issues should give a good thorough read. Even though there were a number of grammatical errors, J.T. perfectly captured the feelings of blind hope, crushing defeat, more hope, despair, obsession, and joy that come along with the infertility "journey". Her sense of humor through the entire ordeal was uplifting. I laughed, cried, and was over the moon alongside her. It gives hope that there is indeed "light at the end of the birth canal".

Colour Me Amused
Serial killers, psychos, and two friends from Utah who talk about true crime while using dark humour and foul language. They also tell true stories sent in by listeners and advocate for victims of domestic abuse in all forms.
The full episodes these days are interspersed with minisodes (Sosodes) that include bloopers, squirrel hunts, random tangents, and additional hilarity.
If you have tender sensibilities, definitely do not listen. Otherwise, get ready to have your feelings f***ed, and stay out of chalklines!

Aesthetically gorgeous
Beautifully dark and weird
Strong acting
A tad long (1 more)
Can get a bit confusing
I heard it said that the director had wanted to make a BioShock film, was rejected, and made this instead. I believe it. After seeing this I had such a BioShock feel about it and apparently my feelings are well founded. This film is fantastically dark and weird with a perfect setting and aesthetic. It's a bit on the longer side, but if that doesn't bother you then I highly recommend it.

I have mixed feelings about this book because of what's happening in the story. It's a very intense book with a lot of emotion and action and everything going on and I was caught off guard by quite a few things in this one.
I can't wait to find out what happens next!
If you haven't checked out this series, you should, but be warned, it's going to be a rollercoaster for you and your emotions. Also you'll likely have some book hangover issues after reading this series especially this book

Phil Leader (619 KP) rated Invitation to Poetry in Books
Nov 15, 2019
Poetry is one of those things that requires a rare talent to do well. Like a work of art a poem must transcend it's physical representation and excite the subconscious. This collection of short poems illustrates that perfectly.
A great anthology to dip into now and again, each poem demands an emotional response from the reader. Even when the actual subject matter may be obscure, the feelings and power behind the words is clear.
This is definitely worth reading and reflecting on, even if you are not usually interested in poetry

Erika (17789 KP) rated Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez in TV
Mar 21, 2020
I have mixed feelings about this documentary, well, mostly, about Aaron Hernandez. The series was fairly well balanced until the end, when people began providing reasons to excuse his behavior.
1) There are plenty of people who are closeted that don't murder people...
and
2) There are also many football players that have the same brain condition... and they don't go out and murder people.
Dude was obviously a psychopath, and I feel bad for his family, but I have zero sympathy for him. The last ep totally just... ruined it for me.
