Perfectly Human
Absolutely fantastic. A beautiful showcase of how our decisions shape our lives, and how hope and acceptance can make all the difference.

When I read My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry, it was an instant favorite.

I read this because I enjoyed that book so much, but I didn’t expect at all for this book to become a favorite as well. At this point, I’d read the author’s grocery lists if he publishes them. His books give me exactly the feelings I look for from a book, where you can curl up and lose yourself in the emotion.

I completely recommend it.

The feelings the author manages to invoke for the characters is brilliantly done without being over worded. The author portrays a great respect for the country and time period that many do not. (0 more)
The switching of locations can be a little confusing. (0 more)
Amazing details
The book was given to me free by Voracious Readers Only and Claire Youmans. I genuinely enjoyed the book, it was different to my usual genre of books generally of the Stephen King and Dan Browns like.
But Claire Youmans portrayal of the characters drew me in so I needed to know what happened to Azuki and Shota in the end

This novel was many times funny, though it was not meant to be. The self-absorption and narcissistic nature of most, if not all, the characters make this a sort of parody of the situation. The character development and the clear agenda each one has feels very color-by-numbers and, even though they are one-dimensional, they are very realistic and relatable. The concept is novel although the plot is a bit discombobulated. I enjoyed the thoughts and feelings this book evoked in me perhaps more than the book itself. The exploration into the human condition and how the relationships begin to break down was fascinating.

A good action movie, no stupid unrealistic car chasing's and unrelatable cold and empty heroes.

Noomi Rapace as always gave an outstanding performance that definitely lifts the movie a lot.

I liked the fact that the leading character is not the normal detached strong man who has no feelings and can’t wait to get the job over but this isn’t the case. Noomi is not necessary stronger than the bad guys, but she is quicker, more skillful and smarter.

Easy watching film, that has smart action that doesn't let you get bored, but not too much action to get tired of it.

Would recommend watching

New favourite book of all time!
(I'm forcing myself to not include my steamy feelings for Rhysand from this review.)I won't forget this book and how it made me feel for a LONG time.
I can honestly say that I haven't had that much fun reading something for a long time. The character development... the romance... the drama!
It also just perfectly showed how trauma effects people if different ways and that its okay for it to take time for you to put yourself back together again and, in the process, become something greater than you already were.
