I loved the characters, and their interactions with one another. This was at times a pretty heavy book that took an emotional toll, but also had moments of hilarity where you realize these really are just kids. (0 more)

In some ways, it's refreshing to watch a film stripped away from the elaborate cinematography and spectacle.

Absolutely Stunning
This book attacks all the feels. You experience joy, anger, pain, love, heartbreak, fear, and so much more. A book that can make you feel is one heck of a book. I would highly recommend going on this journey.

Lies She Told is an amazing blend of psychological thriller and twisty whodunnit! While the first third of the novel feels a bit sluggish and the protagonists unsure and whiny, it quickly evolves into a tale that can't be put down.

Taken from my review from Goodreads:

This book will hit you hard. Sometimes, the poem format feels out of place and I would prefer to read it as a novel, but the flows are good and the message is genuine.

They can go off on tangents

Feels like you're included in a conversation between 2 friends. They are engaging and hilarious and have a warmness you may not expect from a show about murder.
