A dull film

A very slow film that feels very long. It's very predictable and does feel miscast as well. I felt like fast forwarding big chunks of the film. There are much better films of this genre out there.

Beautifully brutal

One of my favourite film of the year. Gave me some massive feels at the end, and had me blubbling like a baby. Podcast review over on my blog.

Fully animated and will entertain young children. (1 more)

Focussed on 'Smurfette' and promotes 'girl power' - girls can save the day too!

Feels more like it should belong on TV rather than the big screen. (1 more)

Dull in parts.

Definitely one for the kids....Adults....arrgghhhhh!

Drake's fourth proper album feels claustrophobic and too long and weirdly monotone, but the occasional tweaks in sound lead to a few great moments.

Good plot twist (0 more)

I really enjoyed this film, in some ways it feels like 2 films in 1. The acting is good, it's gritty and turns quite dark in content. If you like cop, crime thrillers with a difference check this out.

A decent enough film, with good production value. However it's no Gladiator this time out, in truth it feels more like a prequel to what led up to the tale of Robin Hood. It can't top Prince of Thieves though for me.

Cynthia Armistead (17 KP) rated Welcome to Bordertown (Borderland #8) in Books

Mar 1, 2018

I've long wanted to read the Bordertown books, but I haven't had any luck in finding them. So I was very happy to see this anthology. It is very high-quality, other than some of the poetry that feels somewhat last-minute.
