A wonderfully quirky movie about Love and Ex's in a Musical World. (with Patchouli Stink and ponytails)
have you ever gone through a break up... this movie feels like a breakup in the best possible way. It's funny absurd and yet still has the right amount of heart. Kinda like a love song.... worthy of the time, unlike most of my ex's....

here's an alternate movie poster.

I feel this books target audience was 11 year olds. Since that is the age we meet Harry it makes sense to start the series that way. A lot of older readers just getting introduced may find it too juvenile. I recommend everyone who feels this way to just get through it. It is worth it and opens the door to the wizarding world. It truly is magical.

Emotional!

I binge watched the tv series and thought it was epic. Really hits you in the feels.

So, naturally I had to read the book as well and compare the two. They’re both amazing, as always the books better but that’s just my opinion.

The story about the tapes and what happened in the run up to the girls suicide really being up a variety of emotions.

A decent slow burner
For a fairly short film, 1hr 40mins, it's incredibly slow paced. It feels like a much longer film and could easily have a good 20mins cut from it. Apart from that it's a pretty decent thriller. The trailers are a little misleading, there is little Horror here. The story is good with an ending few will see coming.

An early film starring and directed by Johnny Depp. It's a rather slow tale about the length someone is prepared to go to give their family a better life. Starring Marlon Brando as well briefly it's an interesting tale but the film is too long. There aren't many scenes that stand out either and it kinda feels like a made for TV film. For Johnny's die hard fans only really.

Is it possible to add more categories to the books section? I have just added a book and found it very hard to classify it, all that fit was fiction and poetry which is not the most helpful classification. Perhaps a way to classify the book as adult or for mature audiences as well as dark romance would be helpful as just using the romance option feels very misleading. Thanks (:

I agree that fiction and poetry should be separate, and Sci-Fi and Fantasy. Historical fiction should also be a category, and there should be some sort of differentiation between the different kinds of Romance (erotica? If you don’t read it, I doubt you’d want to accidentally read about it!). I’ll have a think about others.

I don’t know what you would call this but perhaps some way to know if a book is a complete story or not. I know quite often in a series each book is about a different character within the same world, therefore each book is a complete story and you don’t necessarily need to have read the other books to still enjoy that one. I hope this makes sense (:

Spike Lee uses black comedy to showcase white horror in all its grotesquerie. BlacKkKlansman (2018) #Review
There’s a deep-rooted discomfort at the heart of “BlacKkKlansman” and it’s the fact that instead of being a historical, true story poking cautionary fun at the ignorance of the past, it instead feels like a howl of furious irony at the recidivism of modern-day America. Acting was top notch; especially Sissy Spacek who needs to win an Emmy for this role
The Gordy side story. So darkly funny!
Why doesn’t everyone just move away?!
Lots of plot holes and WTF is going on moments. I was riveted through the whole thing, but it feels a lot like they were trying to do too much and the show really suffered for it.

Might have been more effective if the blurb of the book hadn't given away what is meant to be the 'big reveal' (about approximately 1/4 of the way in), and a lot of the book is not in describing the actions: "I did this, then that", but how the protaganist feels in carrying them out: (almost) "I felt like this while doing that"

In short: could've been better.
