Being Irish is a complicated thing
Where to begin. Being accurate and entertaining is a delicate thing to do and these actors did their work fo sho. If you need a good movie to curl up with popcorn and have a good cry, ( thanks Cillian) this is a perfect movie. It feels like a very important film that had to be made. The shots of the countryside? Good morning, wonderful people! This is such an accurate description of what it feels like to finish a book that's really got hold of you; that particular combination of satisfaction and depletion that comes from having been somewhere else entirely for however many hours. I think it's one of the best feelings reading can give you.
