Very short story (1 more)
It's very similar to the previous animated films
A big disappointment
I was really looking forward to this when I saw Netflix had a Resident Evil anime series coming out. It's such a shame though and a missed opportunity. Only 4 episodes long and around 22 minutes each episode. You have no real idea where this fits in timeline wise with the games, anywhere after the 2nd game basically. The storyline feels very similar to one of the extended anime films of Resident Evil, so not that original either. The animation is OK, close up scenes have a lot of detail. Other times it just looks like cut scenes from the games. Really hoped for better.

Cracking Thriller
Finally got around to watching one of the most talked about TV shows of last year. It centres around the Personal Protection Officer to the Home Secretary. The first few episodes were very exciting with some great action scenes. The later episodes concentrating more on investigating various plotlines and conspiracies. It's interesting as we get a look into how the Police, Counter Terrorism and Intelligence services work. It all feels very realistic in terms of how the various teams work for the Home Office. There are plenty of twists and turns, the tension will have you gripped to your seat. Perfect for a short tense series.

When I hear a song like this, I think immediately of my own college days in Madison, WI when Galactic would come through town and borrow my Wurlitzer.

Very polished and hummable, Space for Days feels like Dave Matthews on acid at Mardi Gras. It threads the needle between philosophy and stoner truism:

“I got space for days
What I matter didn’t say
Still keeping same
Let it all breathe”
— Kendall Street Company

The truth is this is a party band with a party song, and if you like wah wah licks doubling the saxophone and a bass player who plays up on the neck like he's Jaco Pastorius, this is your party.

Enjoy.
