Crime fiction at its best
It took me a little while to get into this book, but once I did I couldn't put it down! The characters are super interesting and the amount of detail and effort that was put in to make the background information accurate is evident. Also much darker than your typical crime fiction novels.

Book I recommend to everyone
I've read extensively about WW2 and the Holocaust, both fiction and nonfiction. This is the #1 book I recommend for others interested in those subjects and honestly my top fiction recommendation overall. Great characterization, good pacing, and a tense plot jeep the pages turning. Have tissues handy - I'm not a big crier but this one definitely got to me!

Great piece of fiction, dipping into fantasy and the real world. Interestingly, this book was also the inspiration for the song "Jack Names the Planets" by Ash.

Very interesting combination of fact and fiction in this book. I started to remember names from The Crucible and it made the story all the more real.

Good range of facts at an appropriate level for most KS1 children. It was very much enjoyed by my class and helped drive our non-fiction writing.
