Historically really wrong , loads of spoofs, Mel Gibson's Scottish accent. (0 more)
So bad it's brilliant
This movie is so historically wrong but when you put the Brave heart theme tune to it, all is forgiven. It's actually a pretty good movie if you think of it as fiction.

"When I was 12, I spent three weeks isolated on the island of Sardinia with my father and his young family. I found a copy of Clavell on the bookshelf in the home that we were renting and it saved me. Historical fiction became a lifelong love, and James Clavell a guide."

"Rushdie combines historical reality and mythical fiction to deliver a magnificent and magical account of India’s transition to independence and partition. It tells the story of a young man born along with hundreds of others at the very moment India becomes independent and through these new lives come hopes, dreams, curses and complication."

Nellie Bly was possibly the world's first under-cover, investigative journalist - both male or female - and her story is well worth investigating through this intense biographical, historical fiction novel "What Girls are Good For: A Novel of Nelly Bly" by David Blixt. <br/>https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2019/01/11/a-female-journalistic-pioneer/

In an attempt to prove that characters are not necessarily the mouthpieces of their authors, Eric Chevillard takes us on a highly controversial journey, where the lines of reality and fiction are constantly blurred.
