I fell in love with Will and Awa throughout the book and really felt a bond with the characters. I found it fascinating to read about the different historical events and I really think this is an interesting way to spread knowledge of history! I’d rather learn about history when it is mixed in with fiction than sit down with a textbook!

The novel is constantly exciting, and it kept me gripped right up until the end.

I really can’t wait to see how the story progresses in the second book!

This is the second book in the series. I really enjoy books by this author, the more I read the better they are. This author has a fab way of bringing you romantic fiction stores and making them special. This story is an emotional, tear jerker read, so tissues at the ready. This book has fantastic characters, you will fall in love with as you read. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.
Highly recommended
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

I like this book a lot, you don't see many lesbian-themed YA books out there. I'm 26 but I missed out on youth fiction geared toward me as a youth. I had vampire books, that's about it. :/ anyway, pros: it was well written, truthful, and heartfelt. Cons: I did not like the Main Character's Dialogue. She sounded very juvenile for her age and spoke in a way I'd never heard myself as a 17 year old (half) tortillera. All in all I enjoyed the story, I liked the characters and I liked the ending. :)

Full of lines that beg to be shared with friends
A little gross, but a lot of fun
I read this book during a camping trip in which I constantly bugged my family by reading lines aloud to them. If you're looking for a fun, non-fiction book to read, this is a great choice. While it does go into some super gross details (it's about dead bodies), I learned so much. The chapter on how bodies are prepared for funerals was especially interesting to me.

Monk is called on to find a needle in a stack of needles when the producer of a cult science fiction show is shot by a costumed fan. But can Monk deal with the fans who are more obsessed then he is? I laughed my way through this book and thought the plot was great. Unfortunately, I felt the characters became caricatures in this volume. Still lots of fun.

This book is about Friendship. You also learn about ranching in that time. It about Luke and Ray and North Flat Ranch. There some Historical in the book.

It based on a true story with some fiction in it. I completley story. You learn somewhat what to do when in a thunderstorm. Though most of this book is about cattles and the lives of Luke McKeever and Ray. I really enjoyed this book and I was really would recommend it if you you enjoy Cowboys or Ranching and a bit of History.

This was a really interesting novel. I normally don't read contemporary books, so I was pleasantly surprised when I picked this one up. This novel follows a girl who likes to call herself Egg, after a character in a science fiction movie that she loves. It follows her transformation from a girl who cares about nobody to a girl who genuinely enjoys being around her friends. I gave this a four star rating because there were a few parts that were slow, but all in all, it was very well written!

Animal Defenses by Mary Lindeen is a non-fiction book for early readers. This book is about how animals use their natural defenses that keep them safe. From rolling to a ball to spraying a nasty smell, animals are depicted with nice pictures and an illustration of their defense. The pictures are large and visually appealing, the animal species are varied  the information is educational and the information is presented in a way that is easy to understand.

I received this ARC from Norwood House Press via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Firefly Meets Wizards
This book was advertised as Firefly with wizards, and that's pretty much what it is. There is almost a one-to-one correlation between the characters in the book and the characters in Firefly. That being said, I love Firefly and enjoyed the story very much. It's a fast-paced space opera. The story felt a little short to me, more like a TV episode verses a movie. The book was self-published and had some editing problems (specifically typos).
