Regardless of how the CGI of this movie holds up, I love this film and I love the nostalgia of this film.

What a fun film. It gets a little too in the weeds for me in the middle, but a fun film nonetheless.

I wasn't expecting much out of this film. But, I was pleasantly surprised. It was well-paced and suspenseful. Lola Kirke was great as Jill, the assistant. The score fit the film well, and it was very Los Angeles. It was sleek, and the direction was perfect for the film. I'm so glad I caught the film in theaters.

Easily the best film in it's year.
Stunningly good film. I went to see it with no idea what it was about and no expectations. Baring in mind the subject matter this could have been a depressing film but it really isn't. Thanks acting is superb, across the board. I cannot recommend this film highly enough.

A solid boxing film based on a true story. This is all about the characters and Bale's performance is incredible and steals the show. More drama than a sports film or action film. It would have been nice to see a little more ring action, however the real story is the lives of the family members involved. Great film!
