Good but predictable in places
The plot and characters make more sense compared to film 2. It would of been nice to have more of the red dragons back story feed in such as why he was drawn to that character. It is predictable in places in regards to obvious mentions to previous events to make things tie it which really are not needed.

A fine film, did prefer the 5th one slightly over this. Some good inventive "games" once again and plenty to keep gore fans happy. Plot is a bit dodgy in once scene I thought. However seems to tie up all the loose ends nicely. This really should be the last one now though....spoke too soon part 7 out this year!

Tension (1 more)
Suspenseful atmosphere
Great suspense and tension but abysmal ending
The director of this film (Susanne Bier) clearly studied other films of this genre to know how to successfully create a tense and suspenseful atmosphere throughout the duration of the film. Since the 'creatures' are not seen in the film, this really helps the audience's imagination picture various ideas of these 'creatures'. However, my only problem with this film is the ending feels rushed and vague which doesn't tie up any loose ends of the film. Therefore, this leads to the whole experience and atmosphere of the film being subdued by this abysmal ending which could of been improved. I feel that this film could've got a much better rating if this ending was thought about more. A brilliant film with a sub-brilliant ending

Yes, I've read all of Dan Brown's books (including this one)
No, I've never really got the love for them all.
The latest of his novels to receive a film tie-in, with Tom Hanks reprising his role as Harvard symbologist Professor Robert Langdon, this time in a race against time to decipher the clues that will lead him to the source of a biological weapon that is set to explode and release a deadly plague into the world.

Exactly what you would expect from an MCU movie in this day and age. Great effects, good acting, several tie ins to the overarching franchise, and plenty of doors left open for a continuation if the studio sees fit.
I thoroughly enjoyed the timeline setting of the movie. That was actually one of my favorite things.
It was also nice to see Fury's eye patch explained on film.

Great in 3D (1 more)
Cool creatures
I preferred this more than the last one to be honest. Although that might be because I saw it at IMAX in 3D. The 3D elements work really well and add to the sense of being in the action, seeing the guns popping right out of the screen. There is plenty of action and at last some more of the important characters from the games make an appearance. Once again this doesn't really tie into any of the game stories. The story in the film is very weak to say the least. However as a 3D roller coaster ride for the eyes, it's an entertaining action film.

Detail in the animation (1 more)
Ties in to the Resident Evil games time line
Excellent animation
A very good CGI animated film with a great level of detail, really makes it realistic as possible. They even used motion capture for the characters in the film for greater realism. At last a Resident Evil film that does tie in with the games! Bringing Claire Redfield and Leon S.Kennedy back together for more Zombie mayhem. Set 7 years after the Resident Evil 2 game where Racoon City was nuked and in the time line of the games after Resi Evil 4 and before 5. The story plot is simple but this is really like watching a playback of playing the game. If your a Resident Evil fan you will love this. The DVD also has tons of extras, making of, Leon interview, Resident Evil 5 footage plenty to entertain you.
