"I’ve read this book several times. As a writer, I am in awe of Márquez’s genius. The first sentence reveals the gist of the entire novel, and yet everything in this love story is surprising. I would count this as the most romantic novel I’ve read. It is the family legend of undying love we all wish we had."

"I knew Ry Cooder's stuff, and I knew of Ali Farka Touré. I love 'world music', and I particularly love African and Moroccan-inspired music. It's my kind of go-to Sunday morning record. It calms me down. There's just something really magical about it. It was also the opening music for my first ever solo gig."

I love Tim's books, they always end up surprising you in the last 10% or so.

However, I didn't like this as much as the first. It might have been because it ran along the same lines as the first with the surprise or because I found myself struggling for the first 30-40% with the story line. I didn't find it as engaging as previous books I've read by the author. It was still a great story though.

I really wanted to love this book. the first 3/4 kept my attention but not enough to give it more stars. the last 1/4 of the book dragged on forever.

First time watching this film. Wow. I was blown away by how incredible it was. I was in love with the style of this film and the animation. It looked amazing and was such an incredible film.
