Lorri Dudley crafted a great story about forgiveness, love and finding yourself amidst adversary. I enjoyed reading about the characters in this book, they had some good strengths and weaknesses. Both of the main characters were well developed and grew throughout the story. Honestly, at first, I was not sure if I particularly liked Georgia as she seemed to be a weak character, however, by the end of the book she turned out to be pretty good. I also liked Harrison, he was sure of himself and a strong character right from the get-go, a great dad and someone who wasn’t afraid to have a little fun.
I liked the setting of this story as well. Lorri Dudley’s descriptions of island life, the people, animals, and climate made for a vivid backdrop to this story. She described it in such a way that you could almost taste the salty are or hear the thunder roll. I think it would have quite a change for someone coming from England to the small island of Nevis. It made me want to visit

Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated The Guys Are Props Club (G.A.P., #1) in Books

I really enjoyed this.
I loved Sebastian from that first peek we had as he entered the G.A.P. meeting instead of the dance class next door. I also love a man who can dance, and let me tell you, he can dance! He was very sweet with Maddie and I liked how he went about wooing her, despite her protests after her friend Jessica had already picked him out to "play"
As for Jessica, Maddie's room-mate and friend, I wasn't a fan. Maybe she was blind to the fact Sebastian didn't want her or maybe she was in denial because everyone normally does wants her. Either way, I didn't like how she went about doing things and she came across as a right b*tch by the end.
Hunter was a firm favourite of mine and I wish he got a bit more book time or at least a happy ending, because he was such a sweet kid.
I recommend this to fans of New Adult, it has a different plot to most and like I said, I really enjoyed it.

What the--? Seriously?
He asks--begs--her to stay, and against her better judgement she does, and then just because he flips out in his sleep, he decides to be a proper arse to her and tell her he doesn't want her?!?! What the hell?
That aside, I really liked the first 80% or so of this. How Colton did his best to seduce her when she turns him down right at the beginning, by fair or foul. And how Rylee becomes brave enough to try love again after the tragedy in her past.
That last bit, mentioned above, really annoyed me, though. He keep warning her to stay away and she tries her best, but he keep appearing again and touching her, kissing her and she's on the brink, if she doesn't already, of loving him. But at the same time he keeps begging her to give him a chance and then when she does, he totally flips out on her. Argh! I want to punch him right now!
Hopefully, he'll redeem himself in Fueled, book 2 of the trilogy.

Into the fire ( Caitlin Chronicles book 2)
By Michael Anderle and Daniel Wilcocks
Once read a review will be written via Smashbomb and link posted in comments
Caitlin may have freed her town from evil, but the Governor who oppressed them all is still on the loose.
Now, Caitlin and her merry band of Revolutionaries take to the Mad-infested woods to hunt the Governor down and deliver revenge before he can do any further damage.
But, when they arrive at a town bound under the spell of a strange group known as "The Firestarters", Caitlin starts to realize that this could be a lot more difficult than planned.
It's time for Caitlin to jump out of the frying pan, and into the fire....
I really enjoyed reading this second book in the series it had more depth than the first although I enjoyed that one too! The characters are developing well and I love the dynamic between Caitlin, maryanne and Kain. Looking forward to the next challenge and possibly meeting the pack!
