Heather Cranmer (2721 KP) rated Exit Stage Left (Kempston Hardwick, #1) in Books
Jun 7, 2018
I received this book for free through Goodreads First Reads.
I loved this book!! It is heavily influenced by Sherlock Holmes (whom I love). Fans of Sherlock and classic detective books will love this book.
I love how short & sweet this book is, yet it is able to fit the full story in. Also, I am a big fan of books with short chapters. For some reason, it makes me read them faster, haha.
The plot and two main characters felt real.
I'll definitely be reading more of this author and this series. =)

I saw this movie on Netflix and within the first few minutes I was in love with the story and of course, Peter Kavinsky. It was like the perfect teen romance novel. To my delight, it was! A trilogy dedicated to the love story of Lara Jean and Peter. After reading the books, I feared I wouldn’t love the movie anymore. That’s not the case though. The movie was true to the quirkiness of the book. I will find pleasure in both rereading the book series and rewatching the movie!
James Koppert (2698 KP) rated Atlantics (2019) in Movies
Feb 28, 2020 (Updated Feb 28, 2020)
African supernatural love thriller
This is the first film I have seen from Senegal. It follows a girl who is in love but forced to marry into money, but love diesnt let go not even in death.
It is a slow burning artistic film and the paranormal aspect is almost a side project rather than the focus of the films which makes it even more interesting. This is a strange wonderful film and deserved of its cannes award

Even better than the first
What can I even say about this book without spoilers? It hurt me to put this book down and go to work while I was reading it. Nonstop, heart pounding plot twists that you could never predict.
Absolutely amazing book that built on the story and characters we love from the first one. Now I'm going to spend a year freaking out until the 3rd comes out.

Omg. this was amazing. I wasn't sure at first because the first few pages didn't catch me but I kept reading and fell totally in love. The characters were amazing and the fear and pain they went through amazed me. I loved how different this was from other paranormal stories. I loved that they showed the darkness and not only the light. I am very glad I got to review this one
Heather Cranmer (2721 KP) rated The Dead-Tossed Waves (The Forest of Hands and Teeth, #2) in Books

I must admit that I didn't think this book would be better than The Forest of Hands and Teeth, but it was so much better!! It starts out even more slow than the first book and takes longer than the first book to get going, but once it does, it's so so good!! I love the plot twist in this concerning Gabry. I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the series =)
