"At first this book first gives you a ‘reader’s digest’ version of how the world leaders really were. That’s interesting enough. But it goes on to show you how the brain works when a person is depressed, and how to overcome it. It is fascinating and full of important information. I kept reading thinking “great to know the other side of our leaders we didn’t know.” But then, in the end, there is a surprise! It shows the current scientific findings of the link between depression and empathy, we knew only as a moral and idealistic trait. Now it seems they found a point of brain that corresponds to empathy, scientifically, which is connected to depression, its cause, and also as its cure."

First things first: What was in the box?!?!

And then on to the rest: Leah was never my favourite person and she still isnt after reading this. Okay, so we understand better why she is the way she is but i still dont like her. I have a few questions after reading this that i hope will be answered in

I only hope that in the end that Olivia and Caleb get back together because come on: it's only ever been Olivia for Caleb and Caleb for Olivia.

I'll be waiting (rather impatiently :P) for Caleb's point of view to be released so i can devour it and see what he says to Leah about that bombshell of an ending!

If you love Julia Mills' Dragon Guards series, then you really should read this book. This short story tells you how they came to be, how the first person was merged with the first dragon. This is a romantic story, a tale of such deep and meaningful love between two people that nothing can sunder their connection.

With amazingly life-life characters, full of life, action and adventure; this is a novella to be savoured. The Dragon Guards series is simply outstanding, and that is how I would describe Her Love, Her Dragon: The Saga Begins. Simply Outstanding and a must-read for all dragon lovers! Highly recommended.

The second novel in [a:Jay Allan|1024374|Jay Allan|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png]'s 'Crimson Worlds' military sci-fi series, this (I felt) was a marked improvement over the previous entry; over [b:Marines|16050877|Marines (Crimson Worlds #1)|Jay Allan|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1348800025s/16050877.jpg|21833513].

A largwe part of the reason for that, I feel, is due to the increased scope: told in the more familiar third-person narrative than in the first person, with that decision wideningo ut the scope of what can be conveyed: no longer are we restricted solely to what impacts on the central character himself.

That's not to say this is perfect - certain sections did have me (virtually) rolling my eyes in disbelief, and required ever greater a suspension of disbelief than normal - but this was definitely a more enjoyable read than it's predecessor.

Fantasy/romance for the younger YA reader
The Queen's Assassin is a fantasy romance geared toward the younger YA reader. It is told from the first person perspective of Shadow, who has grown up with her aunts and wants to join the Guild, an association of assassins and spies, and the third person perspective of Cal, the Queen of Renovia's assassin, dangerous, feared and highly trained. When Shadow is told she has to serve as a lady of the court to fulfil her duty, she rebels, runs away and liberates Cal, who has been imprisoned. She tells him the Queen has ordered her to become his apprentice. Together they work undercover in a neighboring kingdom to identify a dangerous enemy of Renovia. The story and characters were enjoyable, but I wish there had been less emphasis on the romance and more on the magic system. It was good, but not great.

Great romance movie
Movie is about strong first love between two teenagers. Not your cup of tea? Don't watch it just to cry how bad it is, because it is actually good. In this movie, Bella, who seems to be an introvert, moves to a new school. She is supposed to feel and act awkward because everything is new to her, and Kristen did an amazing job. Edwards being abusive as some people complain, well...a person who feels strong emotions for another and at the same time wants to protect that person from himself, no one would be rational at that point. Remember when you were madly in love, how did you act? Add to that the fact that Edward is a vampire, a killing machine. Great movie about true love of two teenagers and how they overcome problems and their differences.

This author's unique and creative writing style took me a few chapters to get use to it and in to it as it is narrated in first person but once I fell in there, I was completely held captive by the story line and the characters. This is not your typical, everyday romance, and this was honestly an intriguing and thrilling read.

{I received an eARC when I signed up to participate in the release blitz. I made no guarantee of a favorable review and the opinions expressed here are unbiased and my own.}

A quirky, poor girl gets assigned to take care of a grumpy, rich quadriplegic. It is a story that has been done MANY times before, except this story includes the author's "CURLED-UP-IN-THE-FLOOR-SOBBING-HYSTERICALLY" spin on the tale.
The story was easy to follow, fast-paced, and interesting. The book was written in first person. However, the author included 4 separate spaced-out chapters from other characters' viewpoints. This definitely made the book more interesting! I listened to the audiobook version, and it was wonderful.

Each book starts exactly where the last one finished, which is great as there is no need for a re cap and fits perfectly with the diary style of writing.

Keatyn is really staring to grow as a person and you can begin to see her as an adult not just a spoilt child like she appeared at first.

You will continue to be annoyed by the boys in Keatyn’s like as at times they all seem like idiots and that she shouldn’t chose them. Although I am 100% for Aiden.
