It is a story that lays bare the beauty and brutality of coming-of-age discovery and first love with all of its divine, euphoric highs and melancholy, longing lows. The truth embodied in these characters makes you want to jump right into the pages to express your own empathy for what is being said and left unsaid. We have all lived these honest moments of connection and miscommunication in the soulful, connective force that is love. If I had to give this book a rating with stars I would give it a shooting star indeed."

"I do like movies from other time periods, by the way. There is something, it’s sort of a sweet spot for me — societally, culturally, artistically, whatever sort of groove they hit right there — that appeals to my sensibilities. Nashville is endlessly inspiring to me, everything that I do is aiming for that sort of mixture of casualness and kind of amazing f— it sort of attitude, but combined with these incredible performances and story and structure. It’s probably been the single biggest influence, since the first time I saw it, over how I approach movies. That movie fills me with a tremendous sense of freedom when I come into a new project, that I can do whatever I want. There aren’t rules for how to make movies and I also love that Altman was like 50 when he made that movie. That’s inspiring to me as well, that we sort of live in a culture that values, like, people’s first films or first books or first record, fully formed right out of the gate, or whatever. Most of my favorite filmmakers didn’t have careers that looked like that. They sort of kept challenging themselves and trying new things. And for me, Nashville is this amazing thing, whenever I feel pressure that my career should maybe look different than it looks right now. I’m 32 years old right now. Altman made Nashville when he was 50. I have time to keep getting better and pushing towards this stuff. The best is yet to come. So that’s great. Beyond that, I love the music, I love the way it looks, it’s just a great movie."

I do love a good Dinosaur film and generally I'm a big fan of first three films. We've been waiting a long time for the 4th instalment and it didn't disappoint. Bigger, badder with huge action scenes. The park is finally open and booming and it is great to see. The technology in the park brings the series up to date. I like the little touches which refer to the other films, mainly the first one as it's set on the original island 20 years later. Parts of the plot are a little over the top but this can be excused. It feels more like a sequel to the first film in many ways which is a good thing. Grab the popcorn, buckle up and enjoy the ride.

This is a lovely romance book. This book has characters you just fall in love with from the first page. This is the second book in the series but it can be read as a stand alone read. The characters were very well written and worked really well within the story. The story just pulls you in from the first page, keeping you hooked till the very last one. This is a fun, sweet, romantic read. I cant wait to read more from this author in the future.

This is the first book by this author that I've read. This is the first book in this series by this author. This is a melt your heart romance story, perfect for these winter nights. This story will make you laugh, cry and smile as you read. The characters were amazing, I just fell in love with them from the start. The secondary characters were really good too and worked well in the story and helped it to move along at a nice pace. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

Dale Yu: First Impression of two quick Japanese card games – Kobayakawa and Villannex
This is a game that would love an app or spreadsheet to make the scoring a bit easier. As it is, it may be the only game that I own which takes longer to score it than to play it! But – there is a fascinating game here – trying to read your opponents and keep your options open as your hand continues to dwindle in size.
