Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures is a miniatures game of space combat for 2 players. The game players in about 30-60 minutes and can be expanded to accommodate more players.

Movie Rating Watch

After Avengers, I was pumped to see this movie. Who didn't want to know what ended up happening to Loki and Thor? Well, I think that most people weren't impressed, me included. In fact, I'd only seen the movie twice before I rewatched it on my flight from hell a few days ago.
It wasn't as bad as I remember, but I may be more forgiving as of late. Loki and Kat Dennings' Darcy, were by far the best part of the film, but the story fell a little flat. Kat It felt rushed. After this film, I wasn't sad to see Jane Foster gone, as she was relegated to a damsel-in-distress character, which I wasn't a fan of. It was definitely the reason I think it was a good idea to axe Foster in Ragnarok.

I think they wasted Christopher Eccleston's Malekith too. Malekith was yet another generic Marvel villain, which wasn't a good thing to be post Avenger's 1.

Well, now, that was ... unusual.

Unusual in that I don't think I've ever come across history told in such a manner before.

And, I have to say: I think it worked.

This tells the life story of Manfred von Richtohofen, otherwise (and perhaps more famously) known as The Red Baron - a German ace during the infancy of flight, and of warfare in the air (during The Great War, or World War One as it would later become known).

While it does, perhaps, gloss over the more horrific aspects of the war in the air (no parachutes,with the planes being death-traps, and with Richtohofens policy of aiming for the pilot rather than the plane) I have to say that I did learn more from this than I was already aware of - and no, unlike some of my American counterparts, my knowledge of him did NOT come from the Peanuts (right? isn't that the one with Snoopy?) cartoon!
