Florist Abby Knight is not only in her cousin's wedding, but she's providing the flowers. So she has a vested interest in making sure it goes off without a hitch. Unfortunately, one of the groomsmen goes missing. Can she find him? This is a light but fun book. Most of the characters are a bit flat, but I love Abby. And the plot and humor kept me entertained.

I enjoyed reading Flowers in the Attic. Unfortunately, I can't really say the same for Petals on the Wind. I was disturbed by Cathy's behavior. Honestly, after finishing the second book in the Dollanganger series, I'm not sure if I want to read the rest.

Make In A Day Paper Flowers by Amanda Evanston Freund was a great example of this type of craft book. It was packed out with different flower designs so you would certainly get you moneys worth from this edition. It had easy to follow instructions alongside the list of supplies each flower would need and vibrant pictures of the finished product. This came along at a good time as it was half term and the kids were happy to join in and were super proud of the flowers they had made. If you are into this kind of craft, you cant go wrong with this book.

"I saw Flowers for the first time during grad school in the early 1990s, and Rossellini’s deceptively simple depiction of grace and faith has never left me. I always wanted to see it again, so I was beyond thrilled when I found out that Criterion was releasing it. Hands down my favorite Rossellini."

"It's full of in-depth descriptions of people, places, flowers, even ribbons! I loved reading those. I could picture them, you know?"

Abby is not only doing the flowers for her cousin's wedding, but she's in the wedding as a bridesmaid. But when someone crashes the wedding and then turns up dead, Abby has to set aside the flowers to help clear a friend of the crime.

It's been a couple years since I read this series, and I don't know why I let this book sit for so long. It was fun, and I really like the characters. The plot could use a few more twists and the characters could use a bit more development, but overall it was well worth reading.

**BOOK SYNOPSIS**
Flowers Grow on Broken Walls is a unique collection of poems and prose that talks about healing and finding yourself in a world that constantly tells you that's who you shouldn't be.

The poems, which tell a story, go over our everyday human emotions; from being heartbroken and questioning our self-worth in a world of judgment and scrutinizing social media, to finding ourselves and appreciating those really important in our lives - especially our inner, true selves.

The collection displays a raw and honest portrayal of an artist who cannot help but create something beautiful in the midst of the ugliness she has been put through, and who continues to hope against all odds, as she lets go of what she has been told is important and finds herself in one truly is.

The story that starts with heartache ends with healing, it starts with rejection from someone but ends with self-acceptance, which is the only way for true healing.
