Sarah (7800 KP) rated My Movies Pro - Movie & TV in Apps

At the time of purchasing I had over 300 dvds and blurays, and it was so easy to use this app to record them all. For most, I used the barcode scanner which is a really handy tool and impressively picked up all of the right information, even for foreign region discs.
Sadly I've since gotten rid of all my dvds in favour of blurays only, so my collection has decreased significantly but I still find it so useful to be able to catalogue them on here. It even lets you mark titles that you've lent out to others, which is very handy if you're on the forgetful side!
There have been a few glitches over the years, like titles not appearing under the right letter, but this is still a fantastic cataloguing tool and well worth the cost if you have loads of dvds or blurays. The free version only allows 50.
Haley Mathiot (9 KP) rated The Single Girl's Guide to Meeting European Men in Books

Because I wasn't quite sure what to expect from TSGG, I can't really say it met or fell below my expectations. It was interesting (some of the stories were pretty funny!), There was definitely some good advice… but keep in mind that I'm certainly not the dating professional to ask (It's me remember?… the one who is having her father arrange her marriage? yes, I'm serious.) so I can't really tell you how well the advice will work. I will say that most of the "attention grabbers" are somewhat familiar to what has happened to me in the past, and I will say that through reading the stories, Cahoon seems like she knows what she's talking about.
This book is also a great travel guide. There are places to go, hours and phone numbers, and specific people's names mentioned to enhance your European adventure.
**✿❀ Maki ❀✿** (7 KP) rated Questing Beast in Books
May 3, 2018
The overall plot of the story is that these scientists have to file their findings on a planet for...a scientific survey? Something along those lines. A virus somehow gets into their system, though, and completely destroys the data they've been gathering for the past two years.
The only possible back up is called Nannybot, and is also partially infected. The virus has Nannybot believe that it is Sir Pellinor, and it has to find the Questing Beast. If the scientists can make Nannybot think that it has caught the Questing Beast, then the virus can be overwritten, and the two years of data can be retrieved, saving the careers of everyone involved.
The Authurian elements of the story don't go much beyond the Questing Beast itself. The rest is the drama of the report being due, and the age-old implications of introducing foreign wildlife into ecosystems. Very Star Trek.
