Deeply moving, the horrors of separation
A well deserved Pulitzer Prize for Hisham Matar, who writes bravely about the terrible experiences his family faced under the Gaddafi regime and not knowing the fate of his diplomat father. It is gripping and terrifying to read how easy it was for the authorities to arrest and kill Libyans at will even on foreign soil and the complicity of western countries that allowed it to happen. Truly a harrowing and stirring read.

Hilarious
I totally loved this book. I was entirely wrapped up in what would happen and hoping for the best. The story line was excellent following a man who is left for dead on Mars and what he has to do to survive until his crew could come back to get him. There were some absolutely hilarious moments and his reactions are exactly what you would expect...being left on a foreign planet. I highly recommend this book.
